    may tanong po ako sa inyo dati po ako nag papalit ng timing belt. kay mike.

    ung check engine na color orange sa 2006 optra ko lagi na nag aappear minsan nawala tapos mdalas meron...

    chineck ko nmn lahat ng fluids ayos nmn ska wla nmn tagas kc wlang tulo sa buong paligid ng makina at sahig.

    pina restart ko na ung computer box.

    pag bumalik daw my papalitan daw pyesa? eh wla nmn problema sa hatak normal lahat kundi ung ilaw lang n engine check n orange.

    ano po kya problema?

    57,000Km p lang ung odo ko tingin nyo oil pump agad problema?

    indicator ng oli pump pula. yung indicator ng check engine dilaw... pero nabasa na ba kung ano trouble codes/

    bozz jun, ako yung galing sa shop mo nung saturday. black optra 2008. salamat sa tips at sa coolant tank. i will see you again very soon for the car works we talked about.

    sir, check engine pala un. haha nirestart lang nila ung computer box tapos nawala n yung ilaw ng dilaw.

    opo ang sensor nya sa mga outer cv joint, mostly sa harap driver side lagi namin na encounter, kung kaya mo i DIY try mo reading ng bawat sensor kaya lang dapat mahanap mo yung socket nya,, na which is talagang sirain pag minsan nagalaw.
    = nagpapalit kaba sir ng transmission support recently/...

    mostly pag medyo di maingat ang magtatangal magagalaw or madudurog ang socket, yun na yung iilaw cya,

    hello guys,

    medyo naging busy last few weeks sa shop.

    fell free to ask again about sa OPTRA nyo..

    last scenario we encounter is THE OXYGEN SENSOR...
    common na ng trouble siya after na timing belt problem, fuel pump,crankshaft sensor, and coolant sensor.
    pero reading sa OBD2 ay OXYGEN SENSOR LOW CIRCUIT P0131.

    EVEN palitan ng oxygen sensor same pa rin after days na gamit babalik, mostly bigalang mawawalan ng hahatak then lalabas ang check engine, tataas yung minor/idle then balik sa normal pero naka ilaw parin yung check engine nya,

    note; pinaka mahal na sensor is OXYGEN SENSOR about 5,700 estimated value nya... and yes we have SURPLUS NA oxygen sensor.

    how did we do it///
    its always took time para mawala talaga cya, and indeed may parts na papalitan...
    how much it cost///
    depende sa history ng oto, and if kung ano na ang napalitan and ano na nagawa...
    sure ba na magagawa///
    YES... PAGWALANG TINO WALANG BAYARAN, WE NEVER GUEST, WE ALWAYS MAKE SURE NA YUN ANG PROBLEMA, AND PAPATUNAYAN NAMIN SA INYO NA SIRA TALAGA.


    COMMON SCENARIO/ PROBLEM OPTRA IDLE/// SPARK S-TECH 2 // AVEO HATCH S-TECH 2 ENGINE;
    after may nagawa/ginawa, like spark plug/linis throttle body/ ignition coil/ then pag start mataas ang ilde or namamatay ng kusa.
    RPM pag start about 1700 to 2700 rpm.. then drop ng 1200/1,700 rpm .. pag ng gas taas ulit sa 1700 to 2700rpm
    pero PAG AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION PAG NILAGAY SA DRIVE OR REVERSE MAGIGING NORMAL ANG IDLE PERO PAG NABALIK SA PARK OR NEUTRAL, TAAS ULIT ANG RPM.

    LOWER RADIATOR HOSE LAGING NAHUHUGOT OR NAHUGOT LANG.
    WE have stocks ng mga hose before upper radiator hose,lower hose, bypass tube, bypass heater hose, water pump connecting to bypass tube hose. lahat galing casa, PERO laging nahuhugot ang hose ng lower radiator common yung nakalagay sa bypass tube. pero ORIG hose cya na galing casa, then after many encounter nalaman din namin ang cuase nya.

    Hi sir ask ko lang po kano abutin pag nadurog nga ung socket kasi umiilaw ngayon ung abs light ko after nga mag palit ng transmission support. And any tips po para gumanda ang Fuel Consumption? Asa 7km per liter lang po ako e sa city driving. Thanks po!

    yung socket ng abs yung yellowish na, pwede lang naman din cya i dugtong ulit. noo need to change yung socket since na housing lang naman nya ng male and female plug...
    sa consumption naman. i advise na follow yung PMS in certainn kilometer reading, need lang naman talaga cya maintain ng maayos, like radiator cleaning, oil change, throttle body cleaning, map sensor hose/egr//purge solenoid hose check/ etc. pag automati transmission hitting 80k atf is a must, we use motocraft atf. it can stand the right temp, need for accurate shift timing.

    no offense to anyone
    went to cardona rizal from commonwealth +- 80kms
    had a full tank of gas, (had the pump automatic stop for 3 times)
    the traffic was so heavy that from felix avenue to binangonan took us some 2 1/2 hrs, (our total time travel was 3hrs 30mins (we did not know that ortigas ext was under repair, the traffic was terrible.

    gassed up again and it took us 10.23liters
    heavy traffic 80km for 10.23liters
    an MPG of 7.8km per liter on a terrible traffic

    yesterday: went to nlex

    from uni oil at mindanao next to nlex entry, full tank again (had the pump automatic stop for 3 times)
    odometer 00
    went to sta rita exit and back again to the same uni oil gas station, odo meter reads 58.9kms
    full tank again at the same gas station, same pump, same attendant same procedure (had the pump automatic stop for 3 times)the pump register shows 4.03 liters of gas for 58.9kms

    highway 58.9km for 4.03 liters

    an MPG of 14.61 per liter on highway(speed 80kph, 100kph, 140kph. but most of the time 90-100kph)

    all i did was

    1. took off the air filter housing and replaced it with old socks (medyas)
    2. drilled 2 small (match stick size) airbleed holes at the intake hose
    3. add to my oil, AEROWONDER LUBE 2 bottles of 250 ml, (Php 600x2) https://www.google.com/search?q=aero...1Ed8fS1Y6CM%3A


    AERO WONDERLUBE BENEFITS
    1. More slippery lubrication
    2. Quieter engine (atleast 40% quieter)
    3. Cooler engine ( before my temp gauge will reach above 50% now with aerolube no matter how long the ride and how hot the time of the day is, the gauge shows on 35-40% it would not reach the half of the gauge).

    EVERYTHING HELPED TO HAVE MY MPG INCREASE

    Hi Boss jun,
    My Bro bought an optra 2004 since umalis cia pa abroad skin iniwan ung oto binilin niya sa akin na pating nana ung oto ksi nakaka experience kmi engine stall as in magshut down lahat may naencounter ka na ba ganito issue sir...?
    hoping you could answer my issue sir tnx

    good day sir, yes po naecncounter nanamin same trouble before, worst pa eh walang check engine so wala kang pwedeng ihatol na palitan at hirap explain bakit kailangan palitan,
    pag start normal, idle normal, even aircon or drive anjd reverse position sa automatic transmission ay no problem, pero bigla lang cya namamatay, kahit natakbo or naka park lang.
    question muna para ma evaluate;
    1. hard starting ba pag malamig, like di cya kaya ng isang start lang, second start or more bago sya dumeretso na start/
    2. pag mamamatay na cya eh nararamdaman mo ba na paunti-unti baba ng idle/
    3. pag nag shut down ba sya eh may lalabas na check engine pero pag start eh ok na cya ulit, or mababa nja ang idle di kaya pag naka aircon..
    4. ano po huling pinagawa nyo before cya magtampo hehehe.
    5. may pina convert, dagdag, pinabago sa kanya, like compressor conversion, aux fan na direct ikot agad pag on ang susi, HID,alARM, etc.
    post mo sir para mabasa din ng iba na same problem.
    sa 1 out of 30 unit na pumapasok sa amin same problem.

    Sir Jun Im darrem from U.P. diliman sobrang hirap humanap ng shop na makakagawa problema ng optra, i've been searching all over q.c. then finally naligaw ako sa thread mo...

    I have Chevy Optra 1.6 LS AT 2009 model if im not mistaken.. nag start ang pag blink ng oil indicator nya last year, then as times goes by, medyo napapadalas at ngayon sobrang naka steady na yung ilaw nya, sumama na din yung check engine light and then meron na rin noisy sound (clicking) sound sa engine, 52k palang odo nya, and nakaka dalawang change oil and tune up pa lang ako.. what could be the possible problem of my Optra

    Thanks in advance.. sana nakakapag home service din po kau.. and kung pwede po mahingi narin contact number nyo i badly need to repair my car.. i have a pregnant wife..
