And also, ano ang advantages of getting it in chevy commonwealth or makati? i tried inquiring kasi sa pasig / tiendesitas.
    Sir,

This only based on my experience. Originally, we have opted for the TB 4x2 AT. But when I finally saw the official specifications of the new TB 4x2 AT LT, we finally decided and bought the new TB 4x4 AT LTZ. Main reason? You can see it on the specs.

Price difference between the AT LT and the AT LTZ is P245,000. We have estimated that if in case that we go for the 4x2 AT LT, and we would like to upgrade its wheels from 16 to 18 or 20, install roof rails, install genuine leather on the seats, change the default entertainment system to a premium one like the Growl, change the headlights into projector type or HID, change the rear tail lights into LED, and etc., we will be spending more than the price difference stated above.

In the end of the day, still it depends on us, on up to how much we are willing to spend for the upgrades.

Currently, my family is happy and satisfied with our TB AT LTZ 2014 Black Sapphire. When I go on vacation, I will just install a spoiler and rear step sills. And probably go for 20 inch wheels in the near future.

With Chevy Commonwealth and Makati, as I had read here from the start, they have a very good reputation plus a good relationship with the Trailblazer Club of the Philippines.

Actually, the accessories you mentioned are the ones that i am planning to get in case i get the 4x2 at. So i guess it would make sense to get the LTZ instead. I was wondering though if you buy it say in chevy Commonwealth, would you have to have the pms done there as well?

The things you cant upgrade to from the LT are the safety features like traction control and the 4x4 feature. Aside from that possibly the power adjustable driver seat. At this time for me the mylink is not important but is something that at this time cannot be added, though growl is a great alternative. The first two items for me are worth the difference.

You can bring it to any Chevrolet dealer for PMS. But you will regret not having your PMS done at Commonwealth (if you are nearer to it) or Makati (if you are nearer to it also). Both of them have the cheapest PMS costs. In Commonwealth I usually spend a little bit over 6,400 pesos for a full oil change (dexos2 fully synthetic oil) with oil filter change with labor. For my 20,000 km PMS, I spent almost 7,900 pesos for the air, pollen, oil, and fuel filters change. That also includes labor.

If you are wondering why I didn't have an oil change during the 20,000 km PMS, that's because my 1st PMS was at 5,000 kms. Since my oil change interval is every 10,000 kms, my 3rd oil change is at 25,000 kms. Chevrolet's policy with regards to the PMS of the Trailblazer is that they stated the 1st PMS should start at 5,000 kms. In between oil changes if you are using dexos2 oil, you have to go back for oil filter change.

Actually, if you can live without the traction and stability control, hill descent control and hill start assist, I would suggest going for the 4x2 A/T variant. The best upgrades you can do for the meantime are Growl Audio, HID retrofit, and upgrade to 18s tires and wheels.

Sa LTZ ganito how to fold the mirror.
Set the Left/Right Selector switch to Off or Neutral.
Then press the Left/Right, Up/Down Switch to Down and it will fold, press Down again and it will open.

For sir omopov and the others who wants to buy the 2014 Trailblazer LTZ 4x4, an email from Ms. Leah Avante, First Vice President of Sales, Chevrolet Philippines:

    Dear Justin,

    *

It was good speaking with you earlier.

    *

I am very happy with the feedback I am hearing from our dealers like Chevy Commonwealth and Chevy Makati with regard to your promotion and assistance.* We truly value customers like you who have the passion not just with cars but with our brand.

    *

With regard to your query on the availability of the Trailblazer 4x4 AT, I know that lines have build up for this variant, but our estimated arrival of the units are sometime 3rd week of January.* Dealers both Metro and Regional have been calling me up to ask for this variant, but what we have on hand is the new Trail 4x2 AT.

    *

I heard your comments earlier in terms of aggressive promotion and marketing campaign on the Trail 4x2 in order for the market to have a better awareness that we have this variant readily available.* We are pressing on this direction Justin and we shall continue our collaborative efforts to promote not just our Trailblazer but also our other Chevy models.

    *

Again, thank you so much for all your trust and commitment and for leading the Trailblazer Club Philippines.* I am hoping that your members will grow more than triple and beyond this coming 2014.

    *

    All the best.

    *

    Leah

Normally after 5yrs around 50% of the srp. Demand for the unit in the 2nd hand market at that time determines if prices can go higher or lower than 50%.

Does the 50% apply even for a chevy?

If it's a diesel, yes it applies to a Chevy as proven by the Captiva diesel

Great! Thank you for that info. That makes my decision making a lot easier. Can you recommend any chevy dealer? Planning to get the 4x4 TBZ in black sapphire.

People shouldn't be too paranoid about voiding electrical warranties. Since when has there been a major issue involving electricals of a modern car released by a major brand?

I have the brochure from Chevy Thailand. Walang nakalagay na FWD or RWD ang 4x2 doon. I dunno where you got the info na sabi ng Thai website FWD ang 4x2 variants but all of us in TBCPh were informed by Chevrolet Philippines and its dealers that the Trailblazer, like its competitors, is RWD pag 4x2 variant.
