Anyone know of any dealers that have ready stock of the new LTX (or can get it pretty quick)? Am getting tired of waiting for mine - it's been delayed twice already - been waiting for three weeks now. Either that, or I might just get another brand.

Guys im a newbie here. Been checking this site since last yr. Repost ko lang yung question nung isang kasamahan natin here. Does anyone experience this na?

-One more thing pa pala mga sir. Naexperience nyo na ba yun ugong ng makina (parang malakas na blower at walang power). For example im cruising at 80-100kph tapos brake ako sa isang checkpoint, pagtapak ko sa accelerator dun lumalabas yun ugong na sinasabi ko as in ramdam ko walang power at puro ingay lang na parang blower ng hangin. Nangyayari lang to at low gear siguro kasi once napick up na speed pumipino na ulit takbo- from maeki

I've experience this also minsan katulad ng ganyan. Pero madalas pag mainit na yung engine or matagal na umaandar sa byahe. And bumper to bumper traffic. Basta huminto ka unang andar maingay na parang ang lakas ng blower na parang hangin ang tunog para hirap then after ilang seconds pipino na. Thanks.

Then yung isa ko pang napansin is yung preno ang ingay ingay. Usually pag traffic din or paghihinto below 20 speed parang whistle sound sabi sa casa its normal daw ng tb natin yun.


Then another thing pa. Eto lang kasi mga napapasin ko since galing ako sa gasoline cars. Pag idle minsan may naririnog ako kumukulong sounda sa engine hindi naman ganun kalakas pero nararamdaman mo siya inside the car then eventually mawawala rin. Kumukulo or parang boiling sound. Ang dami kasing tunog ng engine ng tb e. Pag andar iba pag pumino iba pag nagreach ng 80+ iba rin. Hindi katulad ng starex namin pinong pino from 0-160 swabe at tahimik.

Baka may leak yung hose ng turbo.

*tys15, lt at and ltz tbz owner here. The ltz is a bit slower since its heavier. I think you do have a problem since the ltz is vgt equipped. Never experienced the stuff you mentioned. The engine of the tbz is one of the nosiest but one of the most powerful. The turbo lag is just like a second from full stop to go, which is scary in the lt at since it does not stop fast as the ltz. Done 100-160 short lap on my friends airfield scary since there are no tale tell signs your going such speed except the speedometer. That being said gundam might be correct you might have a busted turbo hose or the turbo itself is the culprit. Regarring your brakes being noisy... just might be dirty. Have the casa check it tccci warranty is great

It means its normal for non vgt diesel engine. Your starex is evgt equipped. If your tbz is an mt its normal. If your brake is noisy it just means it might just be some dirt in your pads

Sir regarding sa inq ko baka you have any idea kung anu yung cause nun or baka you might have experience it na. Thanks. May turbo lag ba pag AT?

you have vgt. there is turbo lag but minimal. This is somewhat normal.

the noise you hear is either a/c or the turbo whine/ turbo spooling sound. you can switch off the a/c and compare the sound when the a/c is on.

as for the brakes. you can check the rotors if there is some abnormal scratches. if so you can ask your suking mechanic to check the brake pads baka meron crack or uneven wear. normally brake pads do emit sound to indicate replacement. you need to see all 8 brake pads.


your last question...I think this is diesel engine clatter. 2015 models have improved nvh. or could it be bad idle? not sure. you can record the sound and post it on youtube.

Thank you very much sir. For the brakes hindi na siya nawawala. Except pag mainit na mainit na. Pero once napahinga or napark sandali ayan nanaman siya. Then eventually nawawala na. Mahaba haba yung ingat niya. Parang sa mga trycycle or jeep. No scratches naman so far. Yung sound is ung usual sa sasakyan pag malamig pa then brake. Sabi ng q ave dealer lahat ng chev tbz ganyan daw. Sobrang tamad nila dun as in. Parang ayaw nila icheck lahat ng sabihin mo normal daw. Kaya nakakawalang gana bumalik.

Engine clatter? Means? Sa may bandang belts ung parang unusual sound na parang kumukulo. Pero still they cant find it. Sabi din nila again sa q ave lahat ng tbz merun daw. Maririnig lang siya from outside pag nakaangat ang hood. Engine sound then pakinggan ng mabuti may maririnig na parang boiling sound. Sumasabay siya. Sometimes mahina sometimes malakas.

For the blower sound hindi kaya sa gasoline na gamit? Before kasi wala naman lately lang nagkarun? Like kanina sa nlex tumatakbo ng 100-120 then pag traffic syempre babagal then stop then pag tapak sa gas ayun lalabas blower sound parang may hangin. then pipino din naman agad. Thank you again. Sumasakit ng ulo ko sa unit ko. Hahaha.

On your 2nd paragraph. if its boiling it might be the coolant. oil doesn't boil, water does. Do you have to put coolant every often? note the coolant level.

as for the blower sound. it occurs during acceleration only right? if so, it is the turbo. does it sound like a leaf blower?
