sir numbah5, I also consider TB base sa magagandang inputs at less na mga complains from the owners. I'll be coming home next month at plan kung kumuha sa Pampanga.

Quickie or LOM key magpaduplicate kasi may immobilizer ang TB.

Thanks.. I think can duplicate the key outside but you need to bring the original key inside the TB to disable the immobilizer.. The original key uses RF ID ata..

    Will try this.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqE_pWqZH3c

How to program a transponder key..

Look for Jun Antonio sa Chevrolet Pampanga. You may want to visit Chevrolet Commonwealth also since they own Isuzu Pampanga. That way you can compare both the Alterra and TBZ.

Over at the Starex thread, some Grand Starex tsikoteers tried to duplicate their keys at LOM key or Mr. Quickie a few years ago but they cannot start their GS using the duplicate because it lacks an immobilizer chip. It's not advisable to duplicate outside of the casa. Besides, we are given 2 keys by the dealer but only 1 has a keyless entry remote
May sensor sa keyhole yun ganyan din yung alterra namin, i had a compustar starter installed kaso hindi na ma auto start pag wala yung susi na orig kaya ginawa ko i taped 1 key inside the steering column, ayun na detect at gumana na auto start nya. Btw numbah5 the casa gave us 2 wireless remotes nung nglabas kame ng tb, napansin ko dati pagkaabot ng sup nila ng 2nd key after a mos nagulat at ng tanong ung sales rep e bakit dalawa binigay saamin e, yun daw ang binigay ng planta.

For those wanting to change their batteries, here's my Amaron Pro battery. I installed it on our Trailblazer LTZ. Original price is 7.8k, got it at 7.3k since I traded in the Trailblazer's stock AC Delco battery. Size is DIN66 same as the stock battery of the Trailblazer.

The reason why I changed my battery because the stock AC Delco battery started to become weak after a year and 6 months of usage.

Ganyan din ako dati before we bought our tbz, galing din kme sa tuner 3.0 and alterra. Nabenta na yung alterra, nagustuhan ko yung power ng TBZ which is the best in its class, ina talaga kung lakas pag nasubukan mo,safety features na sa 4x4 tsaka ample legroom at comfy seat space, tsaka seatbelt config na mas maganda, isa pa is the high waddling capability of 800mm na bagay dito saatin na bahain, ung monitor din ng alterra dati hindi rin nagagamit so nag tbz kame kesa montero sport. You wont go wrong with both though, priorities lang siguro kung ano mas importante na feature na tingin mo kelangan mo talaga

Madaling gawan ng way yung headrest monitor. You won't go wrong with TB and its capabilities and safety features. Especially if na drive mo na, you'll forget its competitors including the MU-X. Pag baha pa you'll feel more confident sa TB kesa sa competitors niya due to its best in class wading capability of 800 mm.

Kaya wait nalang kami after 3yrs pa.

Ask ko lang sir kung ung mylink ng LTZ ay pwede kabitan nalang ng oem type backup camera. Salamat sir.

IMHO as long as you use a plug and play Head Unit and use OEM connectors they shouldnt just void your warranty esp if no splicing of the wires was done. Besides I think its still the dealer who will cover your warranty and not the local distributor who will shoulder it should there be problems.

It's not the dealer that covers the warranty. It's still the distributor that covers it. Kasi if the dealer is the one that covers the warranty, every Chevy dealer will have their own warranty policy for the cars they sell. Kaya its the distributor that covers and makes the warranty policy. It's also them that subsidizes the dealers during the warranty period of each vehicle.

I have a TB LTZ. What I like about the vehicle are (a) engine assisted braking, (b) hill descent/ascent control and (c) power. These are features you cannot get as addition/retrofit.

Sir Numbah, I just want to know ask what is item (a) means "engine assited braking". Kasi sa specs ng 2014/2015 trailblazer ay parang omitted na yung 'drag engine control' kung sakali itong feature na ito ay related sa item (a)?

    Salamat sir.
