    Review up here:

    Chevrolet Spin LTZ

Also got 18+ km/l on the highway. Didn't get very good economy in traffic, but traffic is getting bad around here this close to Christmas.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Any news regarding the supply of 1.5 LTZ Spin? Can anyone suggest dealer and SA contact number? Is Chevrolet Makati good?

As of now we reserved for 1 unit at chevy laguna. Walang stock sa alabang, laguna and lipa. Dumami ung stocks diesel variant nila dahil in demand ito last year kaya un ang mas pinrioritize nila. Ngayon naman wala na talaga gas
    Hehe. Konting tiis lang.
Is it just me na naawkward sa itsura ng likod ng spin? haha

That makes the two of us. :D

    EDIT:
Just took a call from TCCCI. Engine is Fiat designed, manufacturing is managed by GM Powertrain Torino. Engine is being assembled in Brazil using local Brazilian parts with the exception of the engine block and the common rail. Engine block came from Italy, Common rail is Bosch and came from Germany.

Tata also uses this engine is some of their cars but its already assembled by Fiat na.

So di ba hindi in-house? Heheh

Do some elementary studies din pag may time. Let say geography.

Look at the world map if what sales people says make sense because its against the art of SCM (Supply Chain Management).

    Spin is assembled in Indonesia.
    Engine assembled in Brazil?
Engine block from Italy? and sent to Brazil for final assembly? Before sending to Indonesia?

Yes its maybe true that engine block is from Italy dahil land travel lang pwede na marating ang Poland where 1.3 engines for the European market are being assembled and mostly labelled as ECOTEC.

Also why GM will assemble SDE (Small Diesel Engine) in Brazil if there is no market for small diesel vehicles. Dahil bawal.
Heheh

Diesel LS model. FC: 20km/liter hiway; 14kms/liter city. Very stable even at 120kph Hopefully FC will improve overtime. Enjoyed the turbo-charge feature di nabibitin sa overtaking Very silent sa loob. I've been driving Vios 2008 model, cant avoid to compare that Spin is far better at lakas humatak kahit loaded with 6 adults. No regret and so far satisfied ako sa Chevrolet Spin LS

Hi guys! I've been to 3 Chevrolet dealers (Trailblazer Club's dealer partners) in the last 3 weeks. Most of the Spins I've seen are the LS Diesel variants. No LTZ Diesel.

By the way, for the owners, I highly encourage you guys to form your own Spin Club Philippines. Mas madaling makipagcoordinate regarding problems and issues and mas madali niyo pang matutulungan each other. Not only that, may direct access pa kayo sa Chevrolet Philippines and you guys will be recognized by them. We in the Trailblazer Club are doing that. Sobrang dali makipagcoordinate with our 3 dealer partners and Chevy Philippines. Just a friendly suggestion.

Cant compare coz i never drove AVANZA before. But in terms of size mas maluwag ng konti ang Spin. Style, i vote Spin and that's for me. Price i cant compare since Avanza dont have Diesel model. I just acquired my Spin LS model last Dec 23. My choice was an LTZ model but coz i need it very urgent i settled the LS model which is 100K cheaper than LTZ model. If you don't mind 100K price or 40K difference you may settle the Diesel LTZ or A/T LTZ coz they are loaded with stuffs like mags, Air bags, ABS, roof rail, fog lights etc

Reserved last friday ng Very Berry Red LTZ diesel. Hopefully next week makuha na namin yung unit. Torned between Spin, Innova and Hilux/Strada. Ang naging deciding factor namin is the maintenance cost. Will post pics ASAP. :D

Comparing an mini MPV to an MPV ang Pickup truck, maintenance cost should be lower. Engine oil pa lang, 1.3 comparing to 2.5 engine, thats about twice sa dami ng gagamit per interval. How about tear and wear parts such as tires, brakes, etc. But im not planning to do it in 5 years.

Hehe...
