Got my switchblade silver Spin LTZ gas AT last Oct 23.. unfortunately 3 days ko plang nagamit coz need na bumalik abroad.

Performance.. very satisfied ako while using it. Di sya underpowered, very stable sa daan, tahimik sa loob and very minimal ang noise na maririnig.
I'm not keen on fuel consumption but tried to reset the gauge entering SLEX from nichols to southwoods registered 18.7kms/L.. speed around 90-100 with 6 full grown adults (including me). Malamig sa loob.. thermostat setting is in the middle and fan speed * number 2 (both front and back) even 1:30pm yung byahe. Malakas yung hatak nya at ramdam na may sipa pa kahit nsa 6th gear na.

Looks.. IMO.. better than avanza and livina.

Comfort.. IMO.. better than livina and avanza.

Overall for me... Spin's price for 838k is hindi na talo. I've read a lot of articles/forums regarding this vehicles mostly from indonesia. And lahat nmn tama yung sinabi nila.

Only 1 thing is negative for me.. yung gas cap nya is need ng susi during gas refuelling. So need mo iabot yung key sa gas assistants pra mabuksan nila yung cap. Other than that.. lahat good sides na.

For those na gusto magkaron.. check chevy carmona. Medyo konti ang pila at weekly may deliver sa kanila ng units.

My original choice of color is white.. but kinuha ko na silver instead of white pra magamit ko pa before me bumalik for work.

Meron po sa carmona.. diesel LT model (black) Almost 2 weeks po naka display dun. Im not sure kung available pa. Pero sa tingin ko available pa yun coz yung 2 consecutive monday delivery nila is by wed wala na yung mga units ordered.

Hi there! We were informed by TCCCI that they will be joining the Auto Focus Motor Show next week from Nov. 7-10 at the MOA Concert Grounds. The Spin will be there for test driving, both diesel and gas variants

We've been eyeing this chevy spin also since last week and another option is the Avanza...Just like you Anne, mdjo torn kame which one to choose. As they say, toyota/japanese cars are cheaper to maintain unlike chevy... but for me, iba hatak / dating ng chevy spin compared to avanza...i think it will boil down to one's preference... but of course, feedback / reviews from experts are really helpful... di kc mura ang sasakyan kaya talaga dpat pag-isipan

was able to test drive a spin 1.5L...natuwa ako sa 6-speed auto transmission nya, mabilis mag shift up, di ko lang nasukat ang fuel consumption...maganda din hatak ng engine, di ka maga-alangan mag overtake...may manual mode yung transmission nya pero di ko na ginamit kasi ok naman yung shifting nung auto transmission nya

have never driven an avanza though, so i can't make any comparison

Saw a white diesel unit sa SLEX last weekend. Was cruising at around 110km/h then nilagpasan ako. Mukhang maganda nga ang power and torque to weight ratio ng 1.3 turbodiesel.

Sir, that's not a diesel Spin. It's a gas Spin, TCCCI's demo unit which they allowed the members of Trailblazer Club of the Philippines and the Chevrolet Club of the Philippines to test drive it on a predetermined track in CarmelTown Subdivision in Canlubang, Laguna, along with the Malibu, the 2014 Trailblazer LTZ and LT 4x2 A/T variants, and the 2014 Colorado LTZ 4x4 A/T last Saturday.

Our family went for the Spin. We just bought the A/T Gas version, color black sapphire last month. So far it was good. And yeah there's a manual transmission so u could choose whether to change it to manual mode or not. Hehe we tried using it when we went out of town. More or less 18km/L ung nagamit. Pero kapag city driving, it only got 8-11km/L The aircon was also great. Kahit hindi nka On ung rear A/C.. malamig na talaga.

Thanks for the update Anne... we just made our reservation sa Chev Pampanga, wala pa silang stocks duon pero sabi by January madami na daw darating... my wife prefers the Red color but we have yet to see the red in person... puro sa youtube lang,hehehe!

may I ask din po pala paano ung manual mode dun sa A/T na variant? what does it mean pag sinabing may option to switch to manual mode? what's the advantage pag nag manual mode? thanks po

Just punt the gear to M mode. And theres a botton of +/-. Sa handle ng kambyo.

guys kamusta ang ride comfort nya compared to innova(had 4 of these) real world FC... hope they launch a diesel AT will be getting at least 2 next year.

Got our switchblade silver last Friday, Dec 6. Drove it Bicol 2 days after na ma release yung unit. Kayang kaya niya akyatin ang Atimonan zigzag na naka automatic lang. Yung manual shift ginamit ko sya for engine breaking pababa ng zigzag. Yung load nung sasakyan is 1 driver and 1 passenger then loaded yung likod ng mga baggage.
