Sphinx21 & Chadzxp2, you were both at the TCCCI appreciation dinner? Sayang hindi tayo nagkita. I was at the Motorama as early as 4:00pm taking photos & meeting people. Did you guys see the Cruze with the CMP set-up? I was able to test-drive the CMP unit, ibang klase humataw. I think the IHE set-up really helps get more out of the engine. It was raining when I drove it & the handling was superb. I floored the car at a turn & it gripped pretty well. I don't know if they tweaked the suspension but I guess the 18" tires provide more grip.

*Resident Evil, I mentioned your case to one of the managers of TCCCI & they were surprised to hear about it. I was told that the collision parts are all available since that is a requirement of General Motors. It would seem that the delays are with your dealer (Westgate?). It does take some processing time but 3 months is way too long. Could it have to do with documentation sir? Insurance perhaps? Or police report? In any case they will look into it.

Guys, if any of you have problems with after sales service, please post it here. TCCCI would like to hear about them so the issues can be corrected.

Share ko lang: On my trip from Baguio to Manila, the FC computer recorded an average 7.5 liters/100kms, translating to 13.3 kpl. I filled my tank to the brim (22.3 liters) & actual consumption was 13.79 kpl. The FC computer is pretty accurate.

*WRC - Nice feedback, done some manual computations vs. the registered FC and i will agree that is +- 5% accurate i think. And for any problems regarding your cars will pm you guys the contact number the manager for customer relations and he will surely love to help you out.

I envy you sir, already have the feel of suped up cruze.. I think they used aftermarket suspesion for the WTCC and CMP units coz its a little bit low. But even on 16's the grip and suspenion is superb!

    *WRC, thanks bro.

There is no problem with the documentation. In fact, LOA had been issued by the insurance (in house) 3 months ago. If I do not get my car next week, I might be forced to resort to legal remedies. I'm a very patient man but sometimes biblical patience is being abused.

The dealer tells me that the parts have yet to be delivered. If TCCI is dead serious in getting consumers to trust them, they ought to do something about this.

Truly grinding to wait some parts sir. But work has been started. The apron is very important to be supplied for the body/chassis alignment to be done. This is a big part and cannot be robbed from a unit. But the common collision parts are available.

Expect a loaner Cruze to come by very soon. TCCCI is on top of the situation.

Sa totoo lang, I am getting my ideas on DIYs sa mga for sale sa internet. Just like what I did sa black sealant. Marami tayong pwedeng gawin na DIY at hindi na kailangang gumastos, tulong-tulong lang tayo.

Right now, I have started the "leather seat covers". Bumili ako ng german leather sa Shell Canvass, then ginawan ko ng pattern yong back seat. Malapit ng matapos yong inuupan sa likuran pero hindi pa yong back rest. Mahirap gawan ng pattern kasi. Once I have the pattern mabilis ng gumawa. Mahal kasi magpagawa ng leather seat covers ngayon.
Nice accessories sir.. You got your rear trunk trim for an assembly? Cool!
hmm, I just got the stainless type rear trunk trim (adhesive type), looks good though. But the only problem is whenever I go at the Mall, the guards usually tries to lift the boot using the stainless trim, thats why the metal trim start to loose some of its 3M adhesive. Now, I make sure and always telling the guards to press the button located in the middle portion of the trunk to open and lift it whenever they'r going to check my trunk.. (sucks).

Kindly post some pics of your leather seats, baka sa inyo na lang ako mag pagawa..
Tried to browse some shops near my place, and priced me $$$$.. They told me that theur cheapest leather is worth P2,500 (soft leather type) leathery I think and P10k for the two tone (hard leather type). No idea what that mean! But I noticed that the hard type leather is nicer and more comfortable to sit on to. Planning to buy the hard type leather..
Any recommended shops for car seat cover around pasig, marikina, cainta, taytay and antipolo?
    Thanks

That's what I anticipated about the "stick-on" type that it can be easily removed that is why I decided to get the "full-assembly" type para walang tanggalan at hindi rin mananakaw.

Regarding the leather seat cover that I am currently making, it's two-tone (ambisyoso no? hehehe). I had the colors matched with the cockpit's gray dashboard and the fabric - kaya mas bagay. In the event na expert na talaga ako sa leather, bumili na rin ako ng kakulay sa leather seats ng LT.

I have a slight problem though with the machine needle that I am using kasi hindi siya "leather needle" kaya hindi maiwasan na may skips sometimes. I have tried several stores but can't really find that kind of needle.

I will post some pics tomorrow pero hindi pa ito tapos talaga. What I have accomplished so far ay yong mga nauupuan pa lang, yong mga sandalan hindi pa - but I am quite happy sa natapos ko.

If only I can detach the front seats para fit talaga ang paglagay gagawin ko. I will try to experiment tomorrow kung paano matanggal ang front seats.

I bought it online at ebay. Its a stainless type trim. I bought the stainless and not the metal type to avoid those metal rust and acid stains.
But what bothers me are the guards who are still not familiar with the button on the middle part of the trunk to open it. They're always trying to open and lift it using the plate number lights or the stainless trim on it. That's why im finding a way to buy the full assembly type for the chrome trunk trim like the one with sir marlboro.

    Torque (lbs/Nm)*3800 RPM = 129lbs/175Nm
For all I know, the 141hp is already there until 6200rpm full throttle (max), while the torque will punch-in at around 3800rpm. Helps you a lot when it comes to uphill/climbs/overtaking effortlessly..

My Review of my Cruze LT:
    Pros:
1.)Nice new lighting system and foglight using dial switch styles.
    2.) Cool Default Horn Sound.
3.) Nice Computer Like Menu Console.
4.) Sturdy Door. (But kinda too heavy, My brother caught his finger while closing the door... Yeah. Ouch!)

    Cons:
1.) Trunk Release Problem ( Read Below)
2.) Not so good default speakers.
3.) Kinda hard to think of something, really.. Maybe you guys have some input?

Chevrolet Cruze Inside Trunk Release for Security Check Personnels like Guards. The included button in the trunk area is kinda new to our security personnels and IT IRRITATES me alot when they keep asking me to open the trunk, I hear them saying in my mind that "Wow Ganda ng kotse, pero hindi man lang kaya bumukas magisa yung trunk". Any input from Chevrolet Philippines? Is it possible to update our car using your "computer program update" to allow trunk release from Fob Key while Key is inserted in the ignition area? -_- This is very much appreciated.

About the Truck Release Problem, ako din naiinis, sinasabi ko na lang sa mga guard silipin yung itim na bukasan tapos pindutin. nakakainis talaga lalo na pag pinipilit nila hatakin paitaas agad. Pero ang ginagawa ko na lang, tinatanggal ko na lang muna ang susi tapos ire-remote ko na lang para mabukasan ang trunk, but you can only do this mga 1meter ang layo ng remote key sa manibela para mabuksan remotely ang trunk.

But all in all. very satisfied with my Cruze.
ayun oh "My Cruze", teka, baka pwede din pangalanan na MyChevyCruzeClub hehehe!

*Sphinx21, sir pa pm naman yung name & contact details of the Manager for Customer Relations...I'm sure he will come in handy when I go for my 1st PMS, hehehe.

*Resident Evil, keep us posted sir. I'm not sure if TCCCI contacted Westgate already about your situation. There shouldn't have been any delays with the repair because the collision parts are all available. You can pm me if you wish, para ma-i-forward ko sa TCCCI & make them aware what is happening to your car, sir.

*kglzone, nice LT. Congratulations! Nice choice of colors too. The most "in-demand" Cruze colors daw are black, white & red. Yeah, our Cruze is a solid, heavy car. The remote trunk release will be a good feature to add to our Cruze. I mentioned this to one of the managers of TCCCI & he smiled...obviously he has heard about this comment from other Cruze owners. At the moment, I've only had 1 incident with mall parking security personnel, who couldn't seem to open the boot. Other than that 1 incident, most of them know enough to look for the trunk lock mechanism. Madali naman sila matuto, hehehe.

I will be purchasing my first car this year, and I have set my sights on the Cruze ever since it appeared on the December issue of TopGear PH last year and when I was able to see it in the metal, convinced me this will be my first car.

From what I've gathered here in tsikot, most of the issues isn't really the car itself but the stigma of GM Phil(ie pre TCCI) mishandling from the past.

Given that it will be ~10months since the Cruze was launched, how is owning a Chevrolet Cruze been:

    1. Is TCCI(let's just say Chevy Phil) better equipped and better trained to service Chev/Cruze owners? Or is the service(s) dependent on the branch(eg Pasig is active here, how about the other branches?)

    2. Are the PMS affordable?(Again Pasig is offering great PMS packages, but is this on this branch only?)

    3. What are biggest peeves you have with your Cruze, given that it is past its break in period already. Did it improve F/C(again subjective but I would gladly want to hear from actual owners)?

    4. Are you having regrets owning one?

    thanks

ps: This a research of a (will be) first time car owner, so forgive the slum book questions, any help and insights is greatly appreciated.

    3 week use of Cruze, FC is 15.1 /100L or 100/15.1 = 6.6 FC
Gripes is mainly the Trunk Release while car is on is not possible.
    No idea yet about PMS.

That's inconvenient, you have to turn off the car to open?
