Its because if the HU is a standard unit for Cruze in other countries, it might have a built-in safety feature in where the front screen is temporarily disabled for safety purposes (refrains the driver from getting distracted when you watch ****o on the car's multimedia HU). The rear video screens continue to display the video/movie/etc.

Because that is the case with my Lancer EX's multimedia HU. It has a built-in video disable feature whenever the car is in motion. So if you are watching a AVI, VCD/DVD or even broadcast TV, the front screen will "blank" when the car starts to move. With some help from the mitsu-forums, that feature was disabled (involved altering a couple of wires on the HU harness).

hayyy my Cruze has a big dent on the left passenger side door.. i dont know kung san galing but most likely sa parking lot. i went out to have lunch at a mall - wala pang dent nung pagppunta. nung umuwi na ako di ko tinignan yung door, pagdating ko sa bahay dun ko lang nakita na may dent. walang gasgas, malaking dent lang talaga about 4 inches or longer yung haba. haayyy ang sakit. ok lang sana if ako may gawa kaso hindi ako eh. mga inggtero naninira ng car!

Maikwento ko lang gma katsikoteers, minsan, nagpahatid yung kasamahan kong arabo sa bodyshop ng KIAdealer,ipinaayos nya yung rear bumper ng Carnival nya.
nakita ko sa loob, me isang Optima, langya, halos lahat ng panig ng sasakyan me gasgas....yun bang talagang me galit sa mayari yata...sa hood,fender,roof,side panels....lahat talagang purposely ginasgasan....at ang lalalim....

kaya siguro nandun para ipa-repaint yung sasakyan......

sorry to hear about that j.caine. ive had the same or probably worst experience. my car before (amber vios) had a deep and continuous scratch on its left and right door panels. what's adding insult to injury was iniwan ang pako na ginamit sa harap ng kotse ko. i had to painfully find this out in the middle of the night (as in 2:00 am). 2x na nagyari sa 'kin to in that God forsaken place. i was only renting a pad and the owner was not willing to share parking space with me, so i moved out. fortunately i was able to find a place with a big parking area which i had to include in my non-negotiable list when moving to a new place.

well it was a lesson learned. these are the things i would always do:
1. never park on the street outside the house if i have to stay long at a friend's house
2. always plan where im going, check if the place has a safe place to park
3. if im going to a friend's house, check if secured ba ang area. if im not familiar with the place, i ask.
4. when i do grocery, i make a list so that its faster
5. when i go to the mall, i try to find a spot na di masyadong alanganin for me and for those who park beside me. di na baleng matagalan akong mag-park. at kung suswertehen, i park near the guard station para mas safe.

if di ako satisfied, i cancel my plan or nagpapasundo ako. hihihi im now too OC about parking, lalo na ngayon na bago car ko, Cruze pa!

if i have to go out for grocery, i choose the one thats near to my place so that i could just walk, exercise pa sya.

It really is sad to hear na marami tayong mga inggiterong kababayan, who would go out of their way to ruin a car we have worked hard to pay for & are rightfully proud of. Bakit kaya hindi na lang sila magsumikap para makabili rin sila ng brand new car instead na manira?

I saw a PIG along Ortigas Ave & Ortigas Center at around 3:00 earlier this afternoon. It was a red LS, PIG-**8, heavily tinted. At one point nakatabi ko siya at the Ortigas stoplight just before crossing EDSA, heading towards Ortigas Center. I honked, but no reaction, probably because I wasn't in a Cruze, dala ko kasi Ford Lynx RS kanina.
