it is not really so much about the quantity of people but rather the quality of people---we have a very thin middle class sector in our society. because companies here pay less and the cars cost twice as much as if we are in a first world country. hellooooowww
Dbuzz... india and china have gone a long way... pero speaking of "napag iwanan" ang Thailand that was way below the philippines in terms of economy... has totally overtaken our country... they have local companies merging with the bigger international companies... they have Thairung.. wich is actually Isuzu and etc etc... The pinoy companies you have mentioned are very good filipino vehicle manufacturing companies... which ofcourse folded out of business because they cant compete with the international cars coming in... i'm no expert at this but i think it doesnt take a genius to realize that our governments' excessive tax rates, which is full of crap and doesn't even go back to the "masa", is the reason for this.
