    Asan ba ang dati nating Anfra, Pinoy, FMC, Sarao?.. di na ba maka-compete kaya nawala na?

    Samantala China at India ay lumalakas na sa larangan ng car manufacturing gaya ng Chery at Tata Nano.

    Diba ang gagaling ng pinoy lalo na sa innovations.

    Sana maka-compete na rin tayo sa kanila. napagiwanan na tayo eh.

    I think FMC's Anfra will be launched this year..sana lang sumuporta ang mga Pinoy..at hindi puro banat..

    Norkis Legacy First, maverick, Privacy etc, Alana's Hammer, MD Juan's jeep, Pampanga's XLT, Iloilo's PUJs, Multicabs of Mindanao and Central and Western Visayas, OTJs, AUVs and jeepneys of Cavite at marami pang iba. They all need financial, technical and marketing support plus patronage of Pinoys.

    Again, sabi nun isang American radio commentator, we Pinoys ride on the success of other Asian countries ( in the US), we are claiming Japanese or Korean cars as our own and we keep on harping that we are Asians but actually we are of a different breed because we have nothing to show off as a nation/race......

    Masakit yung comment, thats why its time for us to prove to the whole world that we can do it also...hindi lang tayo nakiki-ride on. With the talents that we have in the Philippines...especially in Tsikot ( including our fellow Tsikoteer who is a talented auto designer languishing in KSA)we can build our own vehicles at hindi lang tayo nag-i-indorso ng japanese, korean, american, chinese, indian or european brand.....

    At least kahit binabanatan ang kalidad ng mga sasakyan gawa ng China at India (Chery, Mahindra etc..)..at least they were able to prove that they can build they own vehicles...

    naniniwala ako na ang pag gawa ng isang kotse ay philosophy and/or consciousness---a fusion of concepts and ideas...

    it also reflects the unity of the people behind it..

    ngayon kng titignan mo itsura ng mga ginawa or a much better term for that inassemble na oto lalo na yan PHUV as a more recent example hindi nagrereflect yun unity or merging of ideas of the people behind it para bang kanya kanyang diskarte ikaw kuha ka makina, ikaw kunin mo ilalim ng ganyang oto, ikaw kunin mo dashboard ni ganyan, ikaw kunin mo upuan ni ganun.. hindi man lng ikaw kunin mo yun ilalim ni ganyan pero ipattern mo sa ganito make adjustments, ikaw kunin mo dashboard ni ganyan pero innovate mo ng konti para bagay sa design neto yun ganun ba---kaya ang resulta chopsuey or parang mutant na hindi mo maintindihan.

    sa tingin ko yun gumawa ng PHUV Fierra Glxi MT Crdu/PTEC Eddie Bauer Limited Edition hehe (PTEC ksi pinitik ntin sa china yun engine hehe)hindi magkakasundo yan mga yan kanya kanyang pabida and usaually ganyan mga pinoy pag pinagsamasama mo gzto bawat dept kng san sila nagspecialize sila masusunod. hindi organized yun diskarte nila. wala ako masyado alam sa process ng car making pero sa tingin ko dapat may isang design team man lng yan na nagsupervise tapos lahat ng dept. susunod nlng dun sa specs ng design team ganun lng hangang matapos para ang kabuuan o final product masasabi mo "now this is what i call a car!"

    IMO I think may mangyayari naman sa atin eh, kundi lang dahil sa mga langyang mga corrupt diyan! mapa businessman or politician, pag may corrupt, naapektuhan ang lahat!

    man, I would imagine if our country is not controlled by corrupt people (specially the "leaders" from Mayor's to the President). I bet we couldve been one of the top countries in Asia and can have a well established Automotive Manufacturer (kahit 1-2 car companies lang).

    tama ka din diyan pre! dapat talaga may Design Team and they should Design and Manufacture every single part of the car from scratch. ang kailangan lang talaga diyan eh ay ang proper machining equipments (CNC and Molding machines, lathes, etc..) I bet w/ the right tools, we can build a whole new car (kahit na maliit na kotse lang!)

    madaming gawang pinoy...kaya lang as pinoy mentality goes---either "binababa ang quality" or "sadyang crab-mentality"

    ok naman built qualty ng mga gawang pinoy--norkis, anfra, pero para makapasok sa price ng under 200T, dapat may sacrifices kasi mahal din ang taxes at clearances--may local tax, national tax, barangay tax, custom/duties, LTO, at worst of all: "revolutionary tax" kaya nasasacripisyo ang laman ng ating [size=3]REAL[/size] local car industry.

    buti nga sa provinces, willing sila tangapin yung mga gawa ng norkis, ang chery..pinaka luho na sa kanila ay isuzu...mura kasi mga sasakyan na to--di naman masamang malaman ang crash rating ng sasakyan, pero 75-90% ng bumibili sa probinsya wont ask na kung ilang stars ito sa euro/US crash tests....mahalaga sa kanila reliable, madaling gamitin/ayusin at mura...mostly nagsasabing una ng crash-test na yun ay yung ahente..

    still, ang problem natin is like sa norkis, jeep assemblers, FMC--all rely sa used parts/cars na ni-rerecondition lang, unlike yung sa china/china/malaysia na brand-new talaga..

    nabasa comments sa PHuV na yun, gumamit ng b-new chinese made engine, parang umabot sa 300T ata nagastos to make it, tapos pinintasan lang natin lahat, kasysa dapat napintasan dapat nagsuggest tayo pa ng ikakaganda at offer natin unsolicited help natin,e...minsan kasi, aminin natin, most pinoy pag di maganda/walang bayad, di binibigay ang best, diba? mamimintas pa.

    anywayz, di ko nakitang personally yung PHuv na yun...kaya di ako magcocoment..kaya di din ako nagcocoment sa chery kasi di ko parin tinitignan line up nila, brochures and patutchada lang dito sa forums ang alam ko about sa chery..pati na din yung remodeled na mira ng norkis(legacy,mtt-spider, etc..)

    magaling pinoy, problema lang, lahat tayo magaling, pero karamihan, lalo na yung may posisyon na, ayaw palamang sa kapwang pinoy na mas nakakababa sa kanya--eto dapat unang baguhin...

    sa kalye lang makikita mo na.....you know what i mean...

    Totoo lahat yang binanggit mo bro. talagang corruption ang ugat ng di nating npag asenso at lalona yung ugaling "lahat magaling" walang pagkakaisa. sayang ang gagaling na,an talaga ng pinoy. yun lang nga kulang pagdating sa unity at management.
