I saw a red Chery QQ whiz by Shaw Blvd. near the Honda and Toyota dealerships a coupld of days ago.

--Basta locally assembled ang Chery tulad ng Vios/Crosswind, Ok ito.
--Sana, i-assemble nila ang Chery sa Pinas using local parts ( tires, magwheels, batteries, hoses, glass, upholstery, radiator etc.) par tumibay ng konti at magmura siguro.
--and hopefully they use local workers (engineers, welders, lateros.)
--Incentives will be given to them by goverment especially kung they will produce parts not made in the Philippines (pioneer invesment)
--baka lalo pang bumaba ang presyo. kaya nitong makipag compete sa mga kotseng lumalabas ngayon na lahat ay CBU (puera lang Vios).
--Pero kung mag-ala Honda/Mitsubishi/Hyundai/Kia yan wawa na naman yung mga buyers in the future kasi CBU so mahal ang piyesa at maintenance.

Kung sobra mura compared to the Japs, why not give it try. Pero kun konti lng diperensya sa mga japs... japs pa rin. Hehehe

---Anyway, basta locally made Vios, Ford , mazda or Isuzu, basta may market sila. Yung mg CBU sana mawala ang market.

I saw a QQ na nakapark sa Festival Mall 3rd flr. open parking area last week. La nga lang ung driver so I failed to ask, pero it's really small, can't figure out how baggages would fit in case it's going to serve the taxi purpose.
