Sana pag pumatok ang Chery, mag-assemble sila at lagyan ng local parts ang Chery para madagdagan naman ang trabaho sa Pinas. i think Chery is using the facilities of Francisco Motors. I hope Chery can help FMC-Anfra revive its operations and build more vehicles with local parts.....

CBUs are of no help to our country like the Picanto, Gentz and other Korean, Japanese, Indian, US, European, Chinese brands and the dreaded smuggled vehicles from Subic, Cebu, and Port Irene.

PERO they're still Amianan-- so, they could still sell you Kias, Hyundais, Suzukis, multicabs...etc. or have your Kias, Hyundais, Suzukis, multicabs, etc. serviced there.
Was checking their displays, I don't know if it's just me o talagang price vs features, parang ok naman ang mga Chery. nga lang aesthetics, medyo "replicas" ang dating (yung QQ nila, same price ng Getz ko nung unang labas pero sila may ABS, SRS na). nagandahan ako sa interior ng A5 nila though.

That was more than a year ago pa yata... I think it was resolved already...

Sometimes, rip-offs are the only ones some people can afford, so... I guess that's fine... ehehe.

Yes, I think the resolution ended with GM investing in China, and manufacturing the Spark there.

It's hard to say who ripped off who... Japanese cars, for instance, were initially copied from German cars who provided them with technology during WW2... on the other hand, the americans got the blueprints for every german vehicle as part of their compensation for WW2 losses, and used these to improve their technology. Even the koreans copies from some source...

I think the ones who dont really copy that much, like the Philippines (where copies are not well met)... are the ones that dont have a thriving automotive industry at all...

syempre meron! ako pa? hehe im speaking of the center part of the dash lang ha.. the tiggo didn't get the exacr curve of the rav's dash but it still has some hint. the aircon vent is closely the same. the only difference is that: 1. knobs(the knobs in rav are isolated and it is different from the tiggo's) and, 2. curve.
rav doesn't have the line below the knobs like that of the tiggo. but you can obviously see that chery copied the center dash from the rav, just made few editings, thus, to make it look like "all new".

but i like tiggo's steering wheel more than rav. rav's is toooo thin. hehe but i like rav's curves/moldings/whatever you call it than the tiggo's. hehe torn between two lovers. wahaha

    That was said, already.

Sounds interesting. Good move. Chana already initiated a long warranty with the Benni, good thing Chery followed.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

5 years warranty is good...if i have extra money i will buy chery cars to give them the chance in our market.. if all of us thinks na mauna na lang sila eh di wala na bibili ng chery cars paano pa natin malalaman kung matibay ito or hindi... ok sana mga chery cars but i think they are a bit pricey considering they are new players in the automotive market.. we also considered their v5 crossover yung parang mpv nila but the price is almost 900k and i think its too much tapos gas engine pa.. unlike toyota innova and kia carens offering diesel engine with D4d and CRdi engine at almost the same price..

May bibili parin nyan, ang target market naman nyan mga taong kapos sa pera... Its still the cheapest car in the market right now and it won't cost you an arm to get one. So yung mga former commuters na nag-aambition magkaroon ng kotse ito ang sagot. I am sure naman kung may pera yung bibili they would much prefer to buy a Civic or Corolla than this....

oh yes they do, even 80s cars has one but it is more an indication of low engine oil pressure than your regular every 5000 km change oil maintenance.

when this lights up, boy! something is terribly wrong in your engine.

nyahaha kapos sa pera how do you know that? Masyado mo naman minamaliit ang mga china car unit owners. Maybe you are super rich then GOOD for you.

I had mine (AMT) almost a month na sakin, i used it last weekend to go to Subic via SCTEX binirit ko to run at 150+ kph pero sandali lang asa 5K plus rev na. But i was suprised kahit maliit sya at that speed steady pa rin I was expecting na mag wi wiggle na sya sa ganong speed. my calculations sa highway is between 20-22 km per liter using Vpower of Shell/ Average speed sa SCTEX is 110-120 kph

Its on 30% DP at 24 months Zero interest. Excellent deal for me, my insurance is quite high compare sa iba kasi its a zero participation at 24/7 towing service.
