Would prefer to have some office work resumed (gradually and when safe) - down to 2 key things:

    1. Online meetings are stressful, take longer, and have less of the human dynamic that helps close decisions faster.

    2. My food expenses have gone up because I haven't been able to charge my meals. [emoji2957]

Bro jut, for #1, that will be the new normal for a while. Even if people will start coming to the office, mass gathering wont be allowed or at least meetings will be limited to a few people. Safe distancing have to be observed it would turn out better to meet online even in the office.

For #2, that would be part of the cost recovery, along with the savings from utilities, to defray the drop in sales.

    1. For us, we'll return to office 1 month after ECQ lifting so likely July, in time for a new fiscal. Only a % of the workforce will be asked to return though - just the ones needed for critical meetings. Unfortunately I fall under that piece so will have to deal with the new normal office operations.

    2. You know our industry bro, not as impacted by the ECQ. So there really are corporate savings from our reduced represenation and travel costs. I account our monthly household expenses and our food expense has increased by about 10% since ECQ started.

True. Rise in cost of electricity and water is eating up the budget plus the order in as we grew tired of home cooking. I feel like nag social distancing na rin ang zipper ng pants ko. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Btw, mental health is an important factor to consider as well. Hopefully your HR is working on something to address cabin fever and ecq fatigue.

I heard stories of people losing it during the lockdown.

Take it easy. I'm sure yung kausap mo sa kabilang linya ganon na ganon din nararamdaman. Afterall, tao lang tayo.

Also, our minds tend to wander during this time. Practice mindfulness and focus on the here and now.

Lastly, pwede mag vent sa tsikot. 🤣

    Yeah!

    Itodo na ang WFH!

Stressful!!! A challenge dealing with personalities even in video conferencing...

And banks are dinosaurs, you still need to print, sign, and send them electronic copies for their transactions... Naubos na ink cartridges ko sa bahay😄😉😎

i read sa news malulugi daw mga office space pag tuloy tuloy na ang wfh kahit wala ng banta ng covid. may iba kasi nag sasabi na sana daw after covid wfh practice will continue, if not sayang daw yun practice na wfh.

i think ok yun per week pasok ka sa office ng twice or thrice a week any time from monday to friday tapos the rest wfh. tapos pag ni pull up ng HR ang data at wfh pattern laging wfh ng monday, thurs, fri.

Nakaka inip din yung work from home yung tipong stress ka na sa work need mo ng ka kwentuhan para lang mag up ulit yung energy mo.. Sarili mo lang kakausapin mo. [emoji12]

Yup, ako din I work from home regularly since 2018 pero I want to report in the office at least once a week. My friends and I go out regularly like try a new resto or even grocery shopping together. Hehehe. Iba kasi yun kausap mo makaka relate at kilala mga characters sa story mo. Pwede naman mag kwento sa SO, family, friends or even here at the board but still iba yun sa officemate talaga.

Spoke to my friend at wala sa kanila gustong pumasok so until June sila WFH

I don't mean to embarass you bro pero pede ka na magsign rin electronically, no need to print. You can "fill and sign PDF files" electronically. Qinoute ko yung keywords if maggoogle ka ng guide.

You just need to convert your signature to a digital one like a photo with a transparent background.

But if the bank specifically instructs you to print, sign, and scan, then we should follow, right?

Besides, signatures written with a drawing tablet are totally different when signed with a real pen.
Naging problema ko nga yan while signing my car loan documents dahil may very light na loop sa handwritten signature ko na hindi ma-capture sa electronic pen na ginagamit sa government IDs. I had to match the signature on my SSS ID para lang ma-approve ang docs.

Yes, for some documents we require wet signatures

    every signature expert knows,
you can not evaluate a non-wet signature for veracity.
not even if they are great carbon copies or high resolution images.
it is not only how the signature looks like. it is, just as important, how it was written.

Eh kung ipascan pa rin sa dulo, it's the same as digitally signing it.

Sakin yung sign ko was not thru a drawing tablet, I experience the same issues as you did. Kaya ginawa ko instead yung actual sign ko on a white piece of paper, kinonvert ko into a photo with a transparent background. Then I use it to sign PDF files.

i think the bottomline question is,
when things go wrong, or when those documents are challenged,
how can anyone claim that that online document is legally binding?

Took the holiday shift today. So far petiks pa naman. Expected ko ito dahil most of the clients we are supporting are observing the holiday as well. Easy double pay, di pa stress.
