Why spend unnecessarily on shuttle and test kits when you can continue working effectively from home....forever? No brainer for any CEO or CFO.

I think, work from home will be a thing. With or without company policy. Sa work namin, paalam lang sa manager, approved agad.

Marcos adviser: Work-from-home only good during a pandemic
By JON VIKTOR D. CABUENAS, GMA Integrated News

Employees should be encouraged to return to the office as remote work options cut down consumption and slow down the economy, a member of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) said.

In a televised public briefing, PSAC Lead for Jobs and Go Negosyo founder Jose Ma. “Joey” Concepcion III said he had mixed views on having work-from-home or remote job options following the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Kasi kapag work-from-home tayo, anong mangyayari sa Pilipinas. There will be less mobility. If there is less mobility, there is less consumption,” said Concepcion.

“Iyong work-from-home, okay lang iyan sa pandemya, pero sa panahon natin ngayon, wala namang pandemic eh. So dapat tuluy-tuloy ang (we should continue the) encouragement to work-from-office para may disiplina rin (so there would also be discipline),” he added.

Marcos in July lifted the State of Public Health Emergency across the Philippines, citing the country’s maintenance of a sufficient healthcare system capacity and low hospital utilization rates even after the liberalization of COVID-19 health protocols.

Yep, like embalsamador, your wife would be fuming mad if you bring your work to your home. [emoji16]

BTT, work from home until end of year. I'm performing better during WFH, kasi nga hindi ako nagmamadali umuwi, mas marami ako natatapos, pag office kasi pag palo ng 5 I'm swiping na my proximity card at the exit [emoji23]. My boss even suggested that if everything went back to normal that I go half a week work in office and half work from home. [emoji16]

My boss thinks otherwise. He’s so excited to get people back to the office.

Push back bro. Show him the savings have generated from lower utility cost. Tap your HR to scare your boss from potential lawsuits if employees get sick from exposure to the virus. Sabihin mo milyones ang damages. [emoji23]

Eh yung HR namin sunod-sunuran lang, sila pa nga nangungulit sa amin paano pabalikin mga tao sa office. I guess job security is a bigger concern for them than the welfare of the staff. Hehehehe
