Started WFH since March 17. I live in antipolo and work at Makati. Since nagkaroon ng lockdown, di na ako nakabalik sa office. Tried to go to work nung March 18 but caught in the checkpoint for almost 3hours. My ISE then advised me to do work at home
na lang until pwede na. Though part ako ng frontliner (Telco), di ko na rin pinilit pumasok since immuno-compromised ang wife ko. Yung nga lang, yung 16gb alloted data ko sa plan ko is ubos na on it's second week. Nagdagdag pa ako addt'l 30GB sa data plan just to make sure connected ako lagi via VPN, but since network admin ang group ko, ubos ang data ko (almost 1.5gb daily) just by opening my email. A little price to pay but sure naman ako na safe kami ng wife ko sa bahay.

Im in the academe and we started WFH since a month ago. We use MOODLE as our learning management system and utilized several approaches like webinars, forums and podcasts.

    Google meet for online meetings.

Awesome, ours is $70/month 50mbps NBN(national broadband network) plan unlimited by Dodo (service provider)

fortunately, we can avail of $0.52 cents per hour if work from home as tax deductions.

    Kids are learning online also.

"42.43 GB used, 28 days left" as per dashboard

Di pa man uso itong ECQ, work from home na ako. Freelance web developer here since 2015.
Pero sana nga matapos na itong pagsubok na kinakaharap natin, kawawa ang karamihan ng ating mga kababayan.

One thing I can say is that my home office is way, WAY better than my actual office. Though, the temptation to slack off is real!

Adapting to this new (WFH) work scheme/style....

Pushing it to be effective but still, inefficient.

To resolve issues,- you have to work very fast and be very patient....

Many meetings are needed to get things properly orchestrated and everyone in-sync with the strategy.

Still, in spite of that, people will hear what they like to hear. Just too many characters in the comfort of their outposts.
