I don't give advice about investing, If it's so easy Eh di lahat nag invest na kung ano mang mabasang mong worth investing.

Sa business naman kung ano pwede mahirap din magbigay ng advice. I don't know if you're capable of running it while having a full time job.

Plus ₱2M is nothing, I mean invest mo sa business ubos yan in couple of months baka wala pa. It seems a big amount of money pero it will too late to realized na nawala na and you've sig yourself in the hole.

Invest in something if you can give 100% of your time and that means you probably have to leave your job.

If you can't do that maybe just keep the money na lang. Business won't run itself.

Like I will not go in a business where I don't know anything. I don't want to go to trial and error for many years while already in the business. Ayaw kong mag OJT habang nakikita mong yun pera mo nasusunog.

There are some people that are more adventurous but I'm not one of them.

I will probably take off from your existing business, like if your family own a hardware. I'll probably branch out to construction but its still somewhat related to your main business.

Pag wala existing business then maybe stay put ka muna sa kung anong ginagawa mo. Ipon ka pa Double or triple or grow your savings muna. I know mabilis mag advice na dito or doon mo invest pera mo but it's not our money to lose.

My advice is don't invest muna.

Dahil kung meron akong alam na magandang investment hinde ko sasabihin sayo. I'll do it myself and make boatload of money.

For those who can share their thoughts meaning they are winning on what they have now, for those who cannot it means they are still searching on what to do. we'll we have different cases, hindi naman siguro na kong ano ang inadvice ay yun din ang gagawin nya exactly, all those advises are only just guides and insights. maybe..

If you don't have the time, don't get a franchise, don't buy a fruit farm ... and if you decide to invest in a business, NEVER have relatives manage it ... manage it yourself ...

    put it in the bank.
    special savings account or something.
it will earn you a hideously low 6K a month.
easily overcome by inflation, but at least, it ain't standing still nor dis-appearing.

many banks have them, even as they do not openly advertise.
    one has to ask.

i wouldn't let go of the entire 2M to pay the full amount of the insurance premium.
    i'd follow the regular installments.
that way, should i (knock on lignin and cellulose!) perish, my heirs would still collect in full, even as i did not have to pay the rest of the unpaid premiums.

    but... i get your meaning.

I'd say business, yes there are such that do not need your 100percent supervision.

But, here's the twist, if you can't, by your own, even wholeheartedly decide what to do with the money, in the first place , then I think you will not be capable of running such business IMHO.

look for a product that's in demand

(i don't know... powerbanks, drones, dog food, cosmetics, diapers, whatever)

buy a whole container van of it

    don't retail

    wholesale

find a buyer or buyers to quickly take the whole shipment off your hands

    then repeat

all you need is a warehouse

less staff, less supervision, less headache

Get it into real estate. In 2016, we bought a small Avida property at around 10k per square meter. Now, the rate is already at 14k per square meter. That's a 40% increase in value in 2 years time.

+1. the 2 bedroom condo we bought 4 years ago pre-selling for 3.2M now has a 6.2M price tag. basta pili lang ng good location and trusted developer. di bale ma-delay ng konti ang turn-over basta ok ang location. case in point zinnia towers by dmci, panget ng location kaya kahit rfo na siya e 5.8-6.4M lang ang 3 bedroom units niya no takers pa. trusted naman ang dmci pero yung location kasi is edsa where there are no bpo or other businesses at malayo pa sa mrt station. trapik pa lagi sa harap at ang layo ng u-turn. pero pag ok ang location pag paubos na ang units taas na agad ang price.
