Hi guys, I would like to hear some suggestions nyo na magandang i business. Currently we're looking at food franchise as a start up. Our budget is around 100-150k and have zero experience and knowledge, though nag babasa basa na rin. Syempre mas maganda manghingi ng inputs sa may mga running business na, pangit kasi kapag sa nag o offer ng franchise madalas positive side lang. What can you recommend? Thank you!

food kiosks would take such a long time for ROI. depende pa sa lugar. trust me, i used to have one.
better keep your money in an investment channel where it would grow overtime, na wala ka masyadong iniisip. doing a business would take guts, time and money. sayang lang kung mawawala yung pera dahil hindi handa.

one of my former staff resigned and got a franchise for crystal clear. nagiisa sa lugar nila. i think it cost him around 300-350k pesos. tapos ang market nya is yung corporate and institutional (mga restos) sa lugar nila. ok naman sya ngayon.

bottomline. 100-150k is money. keep it up muna until such time na handa ka na.

a kiosk would require you to pay salary, get supplies regularly, utilities (e.g. gas, electricity), rent, permits.... tapos kung ang unit price ng product mo is 20 pesos, ilang units ang kailangan mo ibenta isang araw to first pay your operating expenses, bago ka kumuha ng pang ROI mo. magbabayad ka pa ng franchise fee and some franchises require you to pay royalties over gross earnings pa.

my wife and i used to think na kaya kaming buhayin ng mga ganyang kiosk. nagkamali kami.

depende sa situation ni OP to, are you stable na ba, with investments, savings and all? Iiwan mo ba work mo for this?

That is so true. I noticed it's the sales or PR people that really get ahead in life fast. Even in corporate, being "ma boka" is a plus. They have the most "visibility"

I've seen with my own eyes, people who got rich from networking.
