    Hi GmZ,

    Good day.

We just closed down two groceries, and we're selling our shelves, surveillance systems, etc.

A POS linked to an Inventory System may cost more, but will take off a huge chunk of your future head aches (we learned the hard way)

The good suppliers replaces their products on your shelves days before they expire. The bad ones will force a huge amount of their products on your shelves/refs. Don't let them do this. The ref's can only take so much, filling them up beyond what should be will not keep food at their optimal condition.

Haggle for that deal you want. With good PR, some suppliers will stretch their own rules for you.

Bad orders (aka unsold/broken/non-moving items) should be returned to the suppliers. Some will deduct their prices from your next order, while others will replace them with new ones. Other's will trick you into 'forgetting' your bad stock, or blaming the damage on you.

Don't ignore the suppliers that are starting up, they usually give their products on consignment, and full return for bad orders.

If I'm not mistaken, SuySing also accepts credit cards plus they have cool incentives like Disney trips, etc.

Some suppliers provide ref's, shelves, etc. Some even give an allowance for electricity.

^^ yes, suy sing do accept cards, actually it will you up to maximum of 53 days credit term.

even ultra mega now have booking salesman.

for suppliers that are starting up, yes they will give consignment and full return of B.Os, because that is the easiet and tested (most of the time the only way), together with some listing fee, ranging from 2 to 4 thousand pesos, to have their product be carried on the shelves by these supermarkets.

Have good security esp. for walk in shops. You wouldn't believe how fast and efficient shoplifters are. With that, have your expensive items in a 'safe' place. (infant formulas, are always a target - keep them in sight or in locked glass cabinets)
