As they say, hindsight is 20/20. What are the things you wish you'd have known back when you were in your twenties? What wisdom do you wish to impart to younger folks who're just starting out? 😊

Get a job (I started working in my 30s).
    Set long-term goals.
    Save up early for retirement.

Build your career and make a good choice in partner. You're set Jut, you have both

This decade is really critical and I think my failure in life is due to the wrong decisions I made in my 20s.

My biggest mistake was not being conscious of time/years (only worked a few years in my 20s and wasted my youth in a dead end relationship)

I read this article 5 years ago,

John Gokongwei – Ateneo School of Management Speech, March 22 | Archian Speaks in Bacolod and Dubai

... .. it became my inspiration to (slowly) break out of the corporate mold and go back to my farming roots.

I'm still a corporate slave right now, but I'm proud to say that change has begun.

Don't be afraid of debt. No better time to invest in relatively riskier ventures than when you're younger.

Take your old man's advice about most things to heart but have your own ideas on how to improve on them as well.

Ask every girl you like out. You'd be surprised how many like you as well.

    Save more. A lot more.

    Stay connected to your friends.

True on number 1. It can make or break you. So choose a good partner while most of the good ones aren't taken yet in their 20s.

I actually did that,- but please do not take advantage of their frailties.

That's the unwritten agreement amongst gentlemen.

But bro, I was taught to collect and collect, and then select. 😉

Actually went out with quite a few. Just surprised at some of the others I didn't go out with. Never thought they were interested. Apparently roasting was their way of dropping hints. 😲

Even then, I only got involved with girls I thought had a chance of settling down with eventually.

To a degree, I believe in the Fullmetal Alchemist's law of equivalent exchange. (Takot din sa karma)
