Yes, we are in SM last night and just want to checkout what is showing in the cinema.... maid in malacanang, orphan the origin and dragon balls only 3 shows and their time slot is limited to 2 or 3 per day so cinema nowadays if different than before wherein you see people lining up.... last night there was virtually no people maybe they are all inside watching? probably or not hehe

Besides fear of pandemic, streaming apps has been releasing films just few days or weeks after cinema release.

Before pandemic, my family used to watch cinema at least twice a month. Then pandemic happened, nasanay na kami sa Movies from Netflix and hbo go. Also youtube bigla dumami mga youtuber. I asked my wife kung gusto nya pa manood sa mga sinehan. Hindi na raw, parang satisfied na sya sa youtube and Netflix. Also the price, before pandemic ₱500 per pax sa recliner seat, now ₱700 na, sobra na mahal. Hindi na worth it, almost 4k for a 2 hour entertainment for the whole family.
