For 2022, mas marami ang bonds at CPs kaysa IPOs dahil election year plus rising interest rates.

mas mataas interest rate ng di kilalang company kasi di sila kasing creditworthy ng blue chip like SMC

they're riskier so investors demand higher interest rate

this is PH local currency bond yield

use that as a guide what interest rate you should be paid when buying a bond

(bond yields fluctuate pls check daily)

the gov't is the most creditworthy entity

companies have to pay higher interest than the government coz they can't be more creditworthy that the gov't

    gov't bond yields = benchmark

The corporate bonds offered by different banks are the rates basically the same? or there is a small percentage difference? because right now they can only give me indicative rate.

higher rated companies pay lower interest than lower rated companies

i think the various banks get their bonds from the same source,
hence the similar rates offered to their publics.
the "small" differences are probably to cover the banks' individual background requirements.
but because we are speaking of billions, "small" isn't really small at all.
