For 2022, mas marami ang bonds at CPs kaysa IPOs dahil election year plus rising interest rates.

My banker updated me regarding SMC and they have 5.25 years upto 10 years 7.3% upto 8.3% indicative rate and also Citicore 7.9% for 5 years. This is the first time I have heard of Citicore Energy.

I reserve it thru BDO.... minimum I think is just 100k. I mean half of the money I won't need for the next 10 years I have it reserve the other half im still waiting for newer bonds or I might put it in Citicore I did a research on the company and it is owned by Megawide Edgar Saadvedra.

BDO is IMA, back in the days it was 1M minimum. I don't think banks would bother below this amount as it would be cumbersome.

Personally, I would avoid Saavedra, he was not in the previous admins graces, his Megawide project encountered legal difficulties. Now Citicore, who just raised money thru a REIT, and few months later raising money thru bonds?

Nung kami dati nagpareserve kami.

I have Arthaland, napilitan kumuha when interest rates were low, but now it's rising, I would be more stringent in picking my companies. Even SMC may reservations.ako when that Eagle cement deal came out. That seemed really off to me.

Yes, we will follow the 75 bps increase of the US in November 17, that should increase the borrowing rates of the PH govt and companies.
