Honestly, I really don't know when retail investors will be able to get the best rates. We can only wait and hope. There are 2 more rate rebasing by the BSP before the year ends, Nov and December. What is sure is it will still go up by at least 0.5% come November.
If banks cannot give me this rate, so where can i get this? Since this if already awarded 10yrs 7.5% T-Bond.

if you're interested in a bond that's already issued you can buy it in the secondary market

    ask your bank

gov't bonds and corporate bonds pay higher interest compared to savings acct or time deposit

lalo mga bagong bonds mas mataas ang interest rate kesa older bonds

kaya bagsak presyo mga older bonds

    ask your bank

i'm sure meron sila binebenta older bonds naka discount

6% net is already very good for me. Back when I was still starting my LOI retirement fund, 6% was very low for me, the average rate that time was 8% for corporate bonds, unfortunately all of those matured already, so I'm doing an average of less than 5% right now.

Maswerte ka pala, assured na allocation mo if you get 3M, a broker informed me of this just now and allocation is not guaranteed although 50k lang minimum. Indicative 7 year rate is 7.29 - 7.74% gross, no other fees other than 20% wht. Net of 5.83 - 6.19% p.a.

Anyway, you can wait for the upcoming SMC bonds, P60B yun so baka maluwag ang allocation.

For the SMC Ph60B, indicative rate is much higher than Aboitiz offer (5.83 - 6.19% p.a.)? if it will be much higher I will wait. Btw, I did ask other banks some do not know about this only 1 bank did offer me Aboitiz and minimum is only Php50K not Php3M.

No pricing yet for the SMC bonds, but I guess it can only be at par or higher than AEV.

about allocation. in my experience with security bank yung mga blue chip tulad ng smc rare nabibigay yun full amount na requested mo sa dami ng gustong magpasok din ng investment.

So papaano kung magpa reserve ka ng minimum which is 3M, maghahanda ka ng cash na ganyang kalaki, tapos denied ka pala? Will they be willing to give you a lesser allocation than the minimum?
