Sariling negosyo still trumps most of these corporate jobs.

I grew up in a family of corporate workers so I never had thoughts of establishing my own business, but in college and after a few months of work, I realized that it's much easier to start a corporate career, but trying your luck with your own business could pay off much better in the long run.

Sir baka sa mga perks bumabawi: stock options, bonuses, expense accounts for gimik, este, entertaining clients, etc.

From my own experience, depende rin kasi how you manage your career, and what companies you work for. Siyempre you may have to start with small companies to gain experience, pero dapat me plano ka din to work for a multinational, go abroad, etc.

And the importance of PR cannot be underestimated, kahit sabihin mo pang super technical yung field mo. At some point you will have to deal with colleagues, bosses, etc.
