August 2nd, 2005 05:36 PM #2In connection with the "Buy Filipino" train of thought, we should look carefully at the labels of goods that we buy in the grocery. For example, majority of Close-up toothpaste flavors are made in RP, but three or four variants are made in Thailand. Likewise, Knorr cubes come in different size packs, some of which are made in RP while some are not. Let's get a message through to these Filipino companies that we want to preserve Filipino jobs.
