right now sir franchise is close sa ltfrb so pag sa labas 25k to 35k...........
and also yun unit mo is 95 model so almost 3 years mo na lang sya magamit na taxi......kasi after 2005 di mo na ma reniew francise dyan sa unit na yan you have to get new model to transfer the franchise.........

    1. close ang taxi franchise sa ltfrb matagal na, pati megataxi close din. ang open lang ay garage service saka school bus.

    2. 1995 model? baka kahit open ang taxi franchise di na rin papayagan yan pare. kasi ang franchise is good for 5 years for new vehicle renewable for another 5 years if the taxi is still in good condition (read: pass the standard emmission test and road worthiness test sa ltfrb.) so since 2 years na lang ay 10 years old na car mo, di na mabibigyan ng franchise yan. oldest model that will be considered for a taxi franchise will be a 1998 model.

    ang remedyo dyan ganito:

    1. bumili ka ng existing taxi franchise. cost is around 10-15k depending on how many years remaining on the franchise. since 8 years old na yang car e di kumuha ka na nung last 5 years na lang ang natitira, baka makuha mo pa ng less than 10k yun.

    2. then, simple "SUBSTITUTION OF UNIT" application lang yan sa ltfrb. since meron na franchise madali na lang yan sa ltfrb.

    3. make a deed of sale of your vehicle to the person you will buy the vehicle from, then another counter-deed of sale of the vehicle from that person to you. this is necessary since the franchise is in his name and the car can't assume the franchise given if it is not in that person's name.

    4. after the "substitution of unit" is approved by the ltfrb, you then present the counter-deed of sale so the car reverts to your legal possession and the franchise can be transferred to your name.

    5. tip of the day: punta ka dun sa mga "attorneys" sa likod ng ltfrb main, yung tapat ng basketball court. alam na nila gagawin dyan. baka sila mismo may for sale na franchise di ka na maghahanap pa.
