Parang good marketing strategy ng VinFast.
Yung owner is also one of the owners ng VinFast.
If this taxi fleet can prove the reliability of these VinFast units, that might entice more buyers.

I bet, these vehicles will quickly turn to rolling junk like most passenger utility vehicles in service sa Pinas. Wala pa akong nakikitang taxi na walang bangga...

Pros.
sales is sales (kahit commercial vehicle pa yan)
Vinfast can prove its reliability

Cons.
Car maybe labeled as a "Taxi Car" - remember the Corolla E100 (Big Body) or the Gemini
If parts are not readily available, mabilis kakalat ang word of mouth (Daewoo Racer)
If the car is not reliable, ma-amplify yung issues nya sa taxi kasi its running a lot of kms in a day (remember the Kia Pride/CD-5, Sentra B13)
Any small defect of the vehicle, kakalat agad (mahina A/C), mabilis ma-low batt. etc

If maka-tyempo ka ng old taxi driver ngayon, they will tell you na lahat ng kilala nila na nagdrive ng LPG na Taxi had TB. I think its just a bad conversion done by local shops. Kasi internationally naman, madaming public transport running on CNG.
