Thanks for your reply.

Depende yan sa kotse na bibilhin mo. Just for hypothetical illustration:

Total estimated cash out(assuming 2nd hand unit) = P500,000.00 (cost of vehicle, franchise fee, registration, insurance, meter installation, etc.)

Total operational days in a week = 5 days

Total days in a month = 20 days

    Days in a year = 240 days

Amount of boundary per day = P1,000.00

    Gross total in a month = P20,000.00

    Gross total in a year = P240,000.00

Deduct operational expenses/month = ??? (oil change, tune up, car wash, minor repairs, etc.)

    Deduct operational expenses/year = ??? (possibly P10k or more)

If your initial capital is paid by cash, then you don't have any amortization to think of every month. Insurance premiums should also be taken into consideration.

I would say, your ROI is expected after beyond 2.5++ years of operation. Hope this helps you with some preliminary info. Again, this is purely an illustration and not be used as the actual basis for going into the business.

For me, the taxi business under the Philippine scenario is already too saturated adding to a great number of taxi operators, worsening traffic conditions, high cost of maintenance and consistent rise of oil prices, crimes, competition from other public transports, and inconsistent flow of daily income generated from operations. Just my personal opinion.
