Yung katabing farm namin sa Negros, meron "Satake" brand na single pass rice mill, it is being driven by a 4DR5 Mitsubishi engine.

Meron din sila yung luma style "de cono" na puro kahoy (I'm pretty sure you guys know what Im talking about), it is powered by a single cylinder Blackstone diesel.

Satake brand is a good brand Abcede i think they are one of the pioneer ng single pass dito sa atin.

Yes, both are still in operation. There are some customers who prefer their palay being milled by the Satake, while meron din ibang customer na ang preference nila is ang "de-cono"

I do not think its that noisy, medyo malayo sila sa amin actually.

A quick study i did before, yung single pass has a recovery ratio of 50-52kilos for every 100 kilos of palay. With multi pass(big Ricemills) the recovery is around 63 - 65 kilos of rice per 100 kilos of palay.

    ^^

Yes, the multi-pass rice mill or the older wooden de-cono types are more forgiving (gentler) on palay that has a bit of moisture left.

Yung one pass rice mill, durog agad ang palay.

It's a bit Risk of Investment but i still try, base from what i have now i will slowly adjust or some kind of fine tuning to maximize things. Looking forward for any upgrade and modernization.
But for now i will start with this. whole/broken rice doesn't matter as long as it is white rice and those low-middle people are my target, i will be selling it as an affordable to anyone but still the profit is there. Attachment 35068

So kaya i took the advantage of building a bodega dahil may Bilaran na, so pwede na un dahil priority naman kami na may ari ng lupa na magbilad ng Palay : )

Opo yan ang balak ko, buy sacks of palay galing sa anihan then patuyuin then stock muna sa bodega after sometime deal to palengke then milled it. siguro dahil sa baguhan palang i would sell it small higher than the time na binili ko sa anihan.
Sir more likely how do you pay the prson who works for you? halimbawa sa pagbilad ng palay as pagbuhat? per sack ba bayad mo?how much naman po? saan ako makakatipid sa cavan or per sack?

Sir can you share how to compute if bibili ako ng sariwang palay mga palagay natin 100sacks at 44kls per Sack at 17pesos per kilo? how much will it cost per kilo after mabilad po?

    Maraming Salamat
    100 sacks x 44kg per sacks x 17 pesos per kilo =74800 cost
    upang bilad 100 x 10 =1000
food for your laborer 4 person 300 pesos =200
    transportation estimate cost 100x10 =1000
    total cost =77000 total capital

lets say sariwa palay mo umatras ng 4 per sacks 100x 4= 400kilos
    4400-400 kilos =4000 kilos

77000/4000=19.25 pesos per kilo puhunan mo
kung bibigasin mo naman kung 65 % recovery and let say 65 pesos per sacks ang milling fee

    4000kg x0.65 =2600 kilos /50 =52 bags of rice * 50 kilos per bag

    52 bags x 65 pesos=3380

    Thank you Sir.

Foton dropside brandnew with warranty versus 2nd hand (100k+ ODO) with the same price ranging 600-800k.

Maybe FOton would be the best choice I Think.

    Your thoughts po?

    maraming Salamat.

Brand new is always a good one, but in future once repairs are need to be done im just worried of parts availability? Vs japanese brand trucks parts are mostly available. By the way you can read sa foton forums para mas may idea.

I'm not sure. tingnan ko nlang sooner.

Sir Erdie, sa ngaun naka 30hp Diesel engine ako and good thing tumatakbo kahit walang kuryente.

Single Pass machine ang nabili ko and ranging 59-62% recovery but most of the time nasa 61% recovery, ok na po ano?

Sir, if maglagay ako ng provision of Electricity using 15KW motor or 22-24HP motor, ano ano kailangan ko? do i need a transformer? ilang KVA po? 2phase supply lang ang province namin.

    Maraming Salamat Sir Erdie.
