Yes, both are still in operation. There are some customers who prefer their palay being milled by the Satake, while meron din ibang customer na ang preference nila is ang "de-cono"

I do not think its that noisy, medyo malayo sila sa amin actually.

A quick study i did before, yung single pass has a recovery ratio of 50-52kilos for every 100 kilos of palay. With multi pass(big Ricemills) the recovery is around 63 - 65 kilos of rice per 100 kilos of palay.

    ^^

Yes, the multi-pass rice mill or the older wooden de-cono types are more forgiving (gentler) on palay that has a bit of moisture left.

Yung one pass rice mill, durog agad ang palay.

It's a bit Risk of Investment but i still try, base from what i have now i will slowly adjust or some kind of fine tuning to maximize things. Looking forward for any upgrade and modernization.
But for now i will start with this. whole/broken rice doesn't matter as long as it is white rice and those low-middle people are my target, i will be selling it as an affordable to anyone but still the profit is there. Attachment 35068

Tumitingin ako sa OLX but hindi ako sigurado alin doon ang reliable. pwede rin ata nila ipadala thru LBC if your far in the City.

Thinking of getting one, but as an observation sa amin, tinitikman or kinakagat lang nila ang butil ng palay to test how hardness it is then they can define if ready for milling or not. amazing. haha

Looking forward of acquiring some rice mill accessories to complete my set-up.
