I guess something these leftist lawmakers can learn is how to do some consensus-building instead of just trying to make noise. The fastest way to make sure your sponsored bill gets to the trash bin is if you start alienating or fighting with your colleagues. Your bill might not even make 1st reading. If they can't sell their platforms in the legislature and translate them into laws, how could they ever hope to serve their constituents?

There are measures other than an across-the-board wage hike law which can benefit workers and farmers such as legislation for micro-finance, income tax exemption for minimum wage earners, socialized tuition for students in private schools, better benefits under SSS/GSIS, etc.

Question lang, bakit pag may "rally" ang mga leftist, full support talaga, ang dami nila ang galing ng logistics! pero pag may mga sakuna ang bayan, e.g. Milenyo, ni hindi sila tumutulong!, daig pa ng mga studyante :-( tapos walang katakot takot sabihin na "para sa bayan" ang pinaglalaban

imbes kasi magtrabaho ang mga ito para sa ikauunlad ng kanilang buhay inuuna pa nila ang kanilang bisyong mag rally at mag reklamo araw araw at gumawa ng traffic..
