I do COD sometimes, but it's cumbersome because I have to leave money to whomever if I'm not going to be around to receive them. 9 out 10, I pay online using CC.

What I do is after I make an order, I paper clip the money and leave it in my "online orders tray". People at home know that is where they will get the cash for the payment. I never order above P2000 for COD, so I always have enough cash in my wallet for it. I prefer to see money leaving my wallet, it controls my spending

This is the reason why I avoid using CC. I only trust Amazon with large purchases using CC because I know they will handle it well in case I have a dispute. I'm glad that this has improved locally, but I'm still not confident

It's typically a matter of when you need it. It's good if you can wait a month or more but for me, I prefer my packages to be delivered sooner... especially if the delivery costs aren't that too significant.

I've returned items and also have been refunded and the money credited back to my cc. No hassles. Everything is on record.

The nightmare happens when returning the item because you need to repackage it with all the bar codes intact and you have to print the return number. After that, you have to go to the nearest LBC, fill up a form, wait in line and drop the package. You have to wait a week to have it evaluated. If they find no fault, they'll just deliver the item back to you. You disputed it again and re-do the process until they find a fault and refund the money back to you.

The worst is ebay. Do not transact without Paypal. They only give 30 days refund. Some merchants there are tricky. They extend delivery time to 45 days. When you receive the package and you find something wrong and you return it, you can no longer refund your money because 30 days is up. There's no live customer service to help you as everything is automated. The seller will no longer reply to you. The only way is to use Paypal and have your money refunded. What Paypal will do is to disable the seller's account and refund the money back to you. Serves them right.

Without Paypal, you're out of luck. Use ebay with caution.

Me too, always COD. Especially pag black arrow, it's either hindi nag re remit ng binayad yung black arrow delivery guy or yung item mo hindi darating pag bayad na online.

konti lang naman kasi difference. just a few pesos. and also pag kailangan ko talaga at kailangan ko agad yung item (sometimes pag meron option na next day delivery pero may dagdag na P20, sige lang) pag malaki difference or not really a priority yung item (nagustuhan ko lang), siempre dun na rin ako sa mas mura.

Yes narereplyan yun. And nafrerespond din sila in case may preferred time ka. So long as he got the cash for the COD, ibibigay sa kanya ang item. Wala nang mga authorization letter and id needed.

My wife handles our shopee account for side income /online selling platform mas mataas talaga ang C.O.D. order lalo sa mga buyers from vis-min. We also suggest outside shipping pag nagmamadali ang buyer sa items via JRS.

I'm not sure if I should feel guilty, but Shopee has a promo pf P100 off for "first time shoppers" so I registered in the app using my prepaid phone and I was able to order at P100 off. My Mom is paying for my order anyway, so I guess it's technically valid.

I suppose it's on a per number and not per address basis.
