yes ang alam ko nga 6 months maximum.. so pag more than 6 months ka nang floating.. you can go to DOLE and file a complaint..
Patigasan kami then. Tumagal na nga last year, I can do it again.

Do I need to report for work pa kung ganyan?

Nagulpi de gulat na nga kami na mawalan ng work, the least they can do is give a redundancy package pero titipirin pa kami

Too much stress yan mam Cathy.. i suggest just walk away.. pera lang yan.. kikitain mo din yan ulit.. just look for a better job or better company.. not worth it ang stress na uubusin mo dyan..

Why will it be stressful pala?

6 months is a long time to be idle.. well it's up to you... yung itetengga mo nang 6 months dyan.. pwede ka na maging productive sa ibang company non.. compute mo yung salary mo sa 6 months na dapat kikitain mo.. malay mo makakita ka nang mas magandang job or company.. or ma maka meet ka nang bagong crush sa ibang company..

anyways.. goodluck.. pero as early as now.. hanap ka na nang ibang job.. it wont hurt naman kung mag a apply ka na..

Hahaha!

Kaya ko 6 mos, before this job, 4 year akong idle Last year I was in the US and idle for about the same amount of time

More than the salary, it's the principle behind it. I am really heartbroken that the job that I loved for more than 10 yrs was taken away so casually. They just pulled the rug out from under me (and 70 other people)

BTW kung floating ang employee, how do they know na hindi nagwo work sa iba? I don't plan on doing that pero curious lang ako

Niloloko nga ko German AVP ko, in terms of hours worked, mas mataas sweldo ko sa kanya kasi I only work a few days a month. LOL. Pero during busy days, turbo talaga. He said I deserve to rest on off peak days.

Tapos before parati ako paalam to work from home, then I was told he doesn't care if I don't report to the office, does not matter since he is in HQ anyway, as long as I do my job.

In spite of being late all the time, I get so much praise from my boss kaya nga accelerated yung promotion process ko, pumunta lang ako US kaya naudlot.

Definitely won't be able to find a better job than this. This is my dream job and boss. The only good thing going in my life

They won't but they can start to be more restrictive regarding your presence at the office. Essentially, slowly taking away the privileges you used to have, like work from home.

I'm confused, if floating am I required to show up at work or not?

Technically, yes. You are required to be at office premises unless HR tells you that it's ok not to show up and they will still keep you on payroll (usually a precursor to redundancy).
