Dito sa Pinas kaya? Pag may 50M ka na ano gagawin mo? Feeling mayaman ka na ba? O magtatrabaho ka ba rin araw araw?
work and work till you're able.then after the retirement, enjoy ka naman.
work until more than double na ang pwede kong gastusin in my life tapos retire na... at least, siguradong hindi ko mauubos ang pera ko at may maiiwan sa family ko when i'm gone... simple lang naman ang kaligayahan ko kaya i'm pretty sure i won't be spending all of the money i am able to save...
ako mabbaw lang siguro ang gusto ko maabot.
i'll stop working when i reach the point when I dont have to work for money, but my money can work for me...
IMO P50M is small pa...economy natin can easily kill that money.
consider living on a P1M budget a year...that will last you only 50 years...okay lang kung 50 years old ka na.
e papano kung merun kang pamilya or kids na nag-aaral pa.
pero if you don't mind living on a P250T or 500T a year life-style, then that is enough.
i cringed when i read this article. this is why people in poor countries hate us for our excesses. multimillionaires feeling envious because they don't have hundreds of millions? give me a f--ing break.
the Bay Area is super expensive, but the fact remains that they are in the top 1% of earners in one of the richest countries in the world. STFU - no one feels sorry for you.
i really would want to prove that i will have the same simple life if given tons of cash![]()
syempre di ko masabi kung anong gagawin ko pag nakakuha nga ako ng 50m...pero most probably i'd put up a small business, or continue to work, para at least covered ung expenses ko.
me nabasa ako dati, can't remember if it was FHM or MAXIM, about this guy who settled in a quiet little town in the US. daily uniform niya is t-shirt and jeans, and he rented out a small apartment for himself. nag call ng town meeting ung mayor to raise funds for a gym. the same guy wrote the mayor a check for 2 million like it was nothing.
idol ko siya :D
if I'm worth 50M here in the Phils, parang mahirap pa din ako. kasi sigurado tsikot ko lang isang 5M saka isang 6M. house ko 20M tapos dapat business ko worth 20M para i-look-up.
50M is a lot of money. I know of a bank which offers 10% p.a. for a 5-year Time Deposit, tapos monthly ang accrual of interest. Since tax-free sya, that translates to 5M p.a. or 416,666,66 per month, net.
That's over 10x what I'm earning now. That's more than enough for me.
malaki nga yung $50M

OT:
Napanuod niyo ba yung kay Nora A sa ABS-CBN? about sa settlement niya sa US? Pinoy couple ang kumupkop sa kanya. Milyonaryo, Real Sate yung business.. Nakita ko sa clips may Lamburghini saka H3, binigay kay Nora A. yung bahay.!

daming pera nang 50m. feeling ko sobra na saken yan pati sa family ko pati close relative ko. around 20-30k lang naman ang gastos namen per month.
kung tamaan ko sa loto 50M, i'll go to a province like bohol, buy a small house then retire there. 50M will go a long way there...
