June 21st, 2007 09:13 PM #232 of my hs bestfriends and I opened a mini pizzeria way back summer of 1995...wala akong alam sa ins and outs nito but i was the one making the pizzas and pastas...malaki naging tiwala namin dun sa isang kaibigan namin but things got wayward kaya ayun....nalugi.
ang naging problema kasi..ako and the other friend...sideline lang ito kasi may primary income naman kami ni hubby..pero yung isa..ginawa nyang primary income yung kinikita ng tindahan namin...kaya ayun...di na namin sya nakita after that...
i ventured still to a lot of small biz stuffs..mostly food..pero puro break even lang..ang hirap kalaban ang mga established na na brands.
ADD: year 1990 right after i got married...my husband and i were doing personalized stuff...isa kami sa nagpioneer nung sarili mong handwriting ang ipiprint namin sa kung saan man..kaso starting pa lang kami kaya ginive-up namin feeling namin mas stable yung office jobs namin...sure income ika nga...malakas sana yun noon..Last edited by spongee; June 21st, 2007 at 09:20 PM.

its okay to have partnership or corporation if you set rules and guidelines. it would also be advisable to list it sa stock exchange for transparency and if anyone bails out it wont affect the business. the key here is to separate the personal and business life and relationship. owners should choose where to go to but management should steer the wheel.

Yeap, pwede siguro with friends but certain rules must be in place to protect EVERYBODY, and they must abide by it.
Mahirap talaga with friends tho, you tend to abuse each other and take things for granted. A business is a BUSINESS. Everybody involved must undestand that. Steps must be taken to protect the business and its profits, even if mejo masakit. I had to fire and unload as a partner a very good friend because he was detrimental to the biz. Samaan ng loob, but I have a responsibility to my other partners to make sure that the business survives. If you're going to enter into a business with friends, make sure you are responsible enough to handle it.
