Ano ba yung office ng wife mo? How about you limit the max amount muna, parang credit card na sa una mababa pa credit limit mo.

Im not saying mag 5-6 ka dahil alam kong masama yun. I say start small, 1k to 3k para makilala lang yung tao.

    Good thing po..

    Got a personal experience..

I lost a big amount of money.. Close to 1M.. I trusted my friends.. But, they betrayed me..

They are paying now.. But, leisurely..

I don't regret what happened though because it taught me a lot of stuff.. And, im a lot stronger now..

ako naman, i called up 2 of my closest/wealthiest friends last week since at that time our family was offered a business opportunity. big capital ang kailangan at cash pa in less than 2 weeks. after coming up P3 M short, i called/texted my 2 friends but both replied a few days later. Since this is the first time our family was asking for a loan, Sabi ko kahit 1-1.5% interest per month with collateral. Di daw nila kaya, so ok lang. finally after 4 days, we came up with an additional P2M from internal funds coming from our main business so umutang na lang kami sa isang relative ng P1 M at 2% per month interests. the thing is, pede maglabas yung mga brother in laws ko pero my family would rather take money from relatives/friends kasi ayaw namin makialam ang mga asawa ng sisters ko para walang gulo in the future.

we could have taken a loan from a bank but processing would take 4 weeks and we need the money in less than 2 weeks.

Been there, done that. Unfortunately, lost 700k several years ago. Masakit sa ulo, nagkaso kaso pa and nabayaran lang parang less than 100k.

there are entrepreneurs there who have the contracts but do not have the capital to commence the same

returns and terms of repayment are good (not more than 6 months)

but the key is to trust the businessman/woman you are investing in

Malabo na lending business ngaun unless you cater yun may mga bad credit history. Kse ako Lang sa 5 credit card ko, they practically offer less than 1% interest per month even if I take like 80% of my credit limit. Right now, I have used 2 cards na for credit to cash facility.

Kasi sine-securitize nila yan yan mga loans na yan as CDO (collectible debt obligation) Tapos I-package nila at ibebenta as bond or investment fund na bibilhin ng investors like pension funds or any other institutional investor here or abroad, Tapos I-hedge pa Lalo yan kase Lagyan ng insurance like credit swaps.

You're so 19th century. You know the global meltdown, para sa mga nakakaintindi it was a meltdown, pero sa mga investors, nag-jump kaya ang financial instruments to the value of hundreds of trillions each.
