a brod of mine have this negosyo before he went abroad... his first concern was target market - sa UPLB kami lumaki (college) and we knew the big demand ng palaba sa mga dormers... this was his target market. When i interviewed him nuon, this were his concerns.

he started with a pair of washing and drying unit and quick planstsahan - hindi ubra yung mumurahin (unfortunately) kasi madali itong bumigay.

you don't need the very big capacity load either, kasi most of the time you don't mix damit of one client with another (for ease of segregation).

yung pamplansta, hindi na yata uso yung korteng "kabayo" ng plansta...this was the fastest pamplantsa.

ROI about 2 years... if you have regular client base.

P1M ang franchise fee ng Metropole.

Inclusive of all the equipments. The machines are re-conditioned, but are the heavy duty types, exactly like those used in the US.

Kaya daw ROI in 1 year, pag malakas.

halos tig P25K each ang washer and drier.

so hindi lalayo sa P100k ang start-up if you don't do franchasing and want to start small.

tubig + machine depreciation cost pa pala tapos matrabaho pa. potentially disgruntled emps

what happens if the labandera accidentally ruins signature clothes?
