To me there should be a happy middle ground there somewhere. We can also be too frugal just as some are too extravagant. Getting to your twilight years not knowing how to enjoy the fruits of your labor to me is just as sad as still having to work in old age.

I don't like the idea of sacrificing health just so you can save or sacrificing the future just so you can give in to a want.

I try not to compare myself to others too much. We all have different circumstances, capabilities, temperaments and moral compasses.

You can choose to be happy with your lot in life regardless of how well you do naman. And remember, in anything you do (or not), lahat may kapalit.

After 3 months in operation ay nagresign na ako.

Who thinks that traveling is a practical investment? You may lose your wealth, youth and friends, but the memories and experience of being in another place, enjoying the sights and learning a new culture lives on....well, unless you got hit by dementia.
