This is my definition of success, if you become a bigger success than your parents. And I think this what parents want for their children naman.

Who thinks that traveling is a practical investment? You may lose your wealth, youth and friends, but the memories and experience of being in another place, enjoying the sights and learning a new culture lives on....well, unless you got hit by dementia.

    Most millennials ganyan magisip.

Here's a video that summarizes my feelings about the over-glorification of travel:

I also enjoy traveling but in moderation as well, like everything else.

Saan ka ba mas masaya, sa maraming travel o sa maraming puhunan para sa negosyo mo?

Agree bro. For me, travel only if you can afford it. And I mean no 24 months amortization on the credit card. I used to travel a lot in my previous job but I was only able to bring my family for a vacation to Hong Kong on our 20th year anniversary!

Pansin ko pa, pag mas mahal yung travel, apparently mas enlightening experience???

Like how did a trip to Iceland become more lifechanging than, say, a trip to Sagada?

I'm sure for Icelanders, baliktad naman. Mas profound ang Sagada trip kaysa local Iceland trip. [emoji23]

Walang northern lights sa sagada. 🤣🤣🤣

Travel cost is part of my budget na. Perhaps, one of the most expensive buckets. Pero I make sure my income covers it. For a family, traveling together, wherever the destination is, creates a lot of good memories.

It is also wise to let the kids do some chores or work if they need extra money or want to buy something.
