I get to save 50% but only because I am still being subsidized by my parents. Otherwise, I won't be able to save at all.

In terms on figures yung 50% ko baka 5% lang ng most tsikoteers.

student here, 3k-5k lang ang naiipon ko monthly from my allowance (kasama na sa baon ko yung pang-gas and minsan yung pang-toll gate kapag wala ng E-pass)

take note: hindi nga pala ako kumi-kick back sa mga miscellaneous fees, books, photocopy, etc.

This year I was able to buy an all-options Vaio Y series, 2 iPhone 4 16 and 32gb, 2 iPads and planning to buy a Macbook Pro today.

Plano ko next year makasave ng 15K per month. Plus lahat lahat ng mga extrang pera na nakukuha ko. Full-time employee ako, may maliit na tindahan, may konting sideline.

Strategies ko para maka save:

1. Magbaon ng lunch.
2. Sun Cellular na network para mamaximize ang unlimited text.
3. Mag commute minsan.

Sell your car and get a pride ... jk. Uhm, kung may taong bahay ka ( relative ), pwedeng siya nalang ipatao mo sa tindahan instead of a helper ( assuming na meron ka at sinuswelduhan mo )

Drive in eco-mode. Ipamaintain mo nalang sa labas yung car mo, wag na sa CASA.

in our case can't compute, the expenses somehow far outweigh the savings we get:

matriculation (7kids) , utilities, foods, rents, salaries & other miscellaneous i dont know what...

maybe break-even but not that much...in the end i would say altho little money saved instead of nothing at all,
