My experience in OLX is not so good too. Meron akong binebentang appliance na slightly use and sobrang baba na ng presyo para lang mabenta since nakatambak lang sa house para mapakinabangan ng iba. may buyer asking if available pa tapos ang drama pa kesyo gagamitin daw para sa parents niya na stroke at need badly yun item ko. hinde ko na ni replyan because i have a strong feeling na tatawaran pa niya yun item ko ng sagad with the paawa effect.

sa carousell naman nayari din ako one time, i was selling a laptop, then this guys message me with his tawad which i didn't accept then after a few hours another buyer message me asking more info about my item tapos same tawad as the first one. In the end binigay ko na din since luma na din un item and naka tengga lang pero below market price, when i met the buyer i found out na ni resell lang niya item ko on a higher price of course. kamot nalang ako sa ulo, thinking sana i had been firm on my price baka ako pa naka resell dun sa pag papasahan din nya and i earn more. I just think at least naka tulong sa iba. hahaha. lesson learned. para paraan lang talaga.

Tried to sell once sa olx kaso ang daming nakikipag bargain pa. Kaya ignore. It took a couple of months before i unload it.

Sa tipidpc, ganon din pero since may feedback rating ang mga tao, mas madali mag filter out ng scam.

Sa fb naman, same sa olx. And i dont like that may profile pic ka at makikita nila ang history mo. Kaya mosty sa mga closed group ako nagsesell kung saan kilala ko majority ng mga tao.

many of them are resellers

like buy&sell ng oto, meron din buy&sell ng cellphones, cameras, laptops/tablets

i guess that's how they make extra money

or could be their main source of income

mas mataas lang tolerance ko sa mga jologs kesa sa inyo kaya hindi ako na-di-discourage magbenta via olx

groups, closed groups let you choose the people you wanna interact with

but obviously you limit your market

olx is wide open no filter everyone anyone can contact you

sold it for 6000 less than the posted price

actually sa sms, nagkasundo na kami less 5000

pero after inspecting the watch, tumawad uli siya stating some reasons

gusto nya less 7000 instead of 5000

kesa mawala pa ung sale, nag halfway kami sa less 6000

Yup. Tolerance is the keyword. When i sell, i normally do post that it is last price and read to achieve quotes. Plus, i price my items lower as my main point is always unloading stuff. Pero may mga nagtatanong pa din ng last price.

Been buying and selling stuffs online for at least 10 years and i still havent developed a tolerance sa mga makukulit at di marunong magbasa.

I try to put myself in others shoes as i know some sellers are also irked by words "sir last price? Kunin ko na sa xxxx amount. Ano deal?"

One rant sa online selling is di makapag sundo sa meetup points. Plus, late sila palagi. Sigh.

by that time, i already got the item from another seller who agreed to my venue.

payag ako sa mga mrt stations since convenient pa noon mag mrt

now with traffic and overcrowded unreilable mrt pinapapunta ko nalang ang buyer sa amin or nearby fastfood/coffee shop

or kung payag ung buyer bayad muna siya sa bangko then i-ship ko sa kanya ang item

Sold a couple of used cellphones on olx ... yeah, there are a lot of lowballers ... posted an item 11T fixed price and a lot of people kept on asking for last price ... so increased the price to 12T ... and voila! sold the item for 11T ...

Lazada shipping is not really free all the time ... some olx sellers also post on Lazada but at a higher price to compensate for the free shipping cost and Lazada's commission ...

Yes aside from shipping, may commission pa ang lazada

So as a lazada seller you gotta have a higher margin than if were selling the same item on olx
