i havent but my sister do sell items in ebay, she started with the people she knows, her friends, then the friends of her friends, if u do these, have them give you feedback, or create a facebook page and have your friends like it.

One of my close friend's family started it on facebook and asked us to help them by liking their page, since we know and trust them we liked their page, in this way people would atleast trust you since you get a lot of likes, in a week's time they had more than 5k likes and their online selling business is booming..

My guy friends are really encouraging me to sell stuff online. My friend even said he will set up an Instagram account for me and he already has a name in mind. hahaha! It's so touching that it's my guy friends who are pushing me to do this.

My friend suggested over lunch that I should try make up services, but the problem is I only know how to put make up on myself. And I am not really that good when it comes to make up. I think guys have more simple taste in make up so the way I do my make up is good enough for them? hahaha. I'm thinking if I should just sell make up items since that is my interest. But I am not sure if I will really make money from this I don't want to encounter buyers that are difficult. May iba nga naninira pa online

I also watched this feature at KMJS on an online seller and she said she used to profit P5k month, now it's P75k day. Is that even believable for online selling?!?

I'm so happy. I had my first carousell transaction. I posted the item last night and was able to sell it in less than 24 hrs! I noticed that none of the sellers go for meet ups anymore. Sa bagay, risky if the buyer is a no show, but then I am also not comfortable giving my home address. It does give a sense of security for the buyer so okay na rin. She asked me if she can book the lala/grab so I said okay.

Such a far cry from the buy and sell days na you post your landline sa buy and sell PAPER and then you get calls sa landline then you have to wait for when the buyer comes to visit or meet up with you.

it's up to you to make it safe

if you're afraid you won't get paid ask for payment first (bank deposit)

if you're afraid of meeting up with buyers send items via LBC

What I want to find out is if it is worth the trouble to sell online? What are the usual challenges of selling online?
i don't see where the trouble is

    gawa ka ng acct

    upload photos

    wait for inquiries

Selling online could be more profittable to you since wala ka overhead, lalo na kung stay at home ka pa. Wait ka lang sa order, let the courier pick it from you then send it. More time for my family and hobbies. Pag ayaw mag courier, edi sige meet up.

Then we decided to set up physical stores, kaso syempre me kasamang sakit ng ulo.

Dami kasi kailangan for permits and marami ka rin kailangan lagyan. By the time na Doble na ng salary kinikita, happy ka na and you can stand on your own two feet. Wag ka lang mag resign muna until your confident enough to be a full blown business.

Hehe

Yung doggie ko bukod sa dog food gusto may rice pa. She has fruits and bread for merienda. Mahal pa ng frontline at heartworm shot sa large breed. Lakas din sa shampoo at sabon. But it's all worth it.

dati mas okay yung buy n sell. i used to sell pets (toy dogs, dogs/reptile/fish accessories, reptiles and other exotic pets).
dati pag ads sa buy n sell since walang pics doon sa mag, pupunta tao sa bahay mo either curious sila to look at your items.
most of the times kung malayo pinanggalingan nila, they will end up buying your stuff kasi andun na sila or kasubuan na.
naka 80-100k ako noon in one day or week.
ngayon sa sulit kita na nila yung ad/s mo kaya doon pa lang nakakapagdecide na sila if to buy or not. kaya yubg iba doon peke yung pics na inilalagay to lure that would be victim/buyer.

^yes buy and sell in the 90s. Free ads you just have to call them. I remember my friend made a practical joke and made an advertisement on puppies and gave my classmate's number. Hehehe.

I read the swapping corner when I need a good laugh. It's amazing how delusional some people get on the swap value of their items. Some naman will swap items that are not exactly desirable hehe.

few years ago, i used to sell installations CDs online. puro Linux distributions so legit
