1. time deposit will be a good alternative if you have 300k, safer than anything else, at least sure ka na additional income if you are working.
2. if you have a good location, you can start a carwash business, samahan na din ng vulcanizing at battery shop (lahat ng taga tsikot, sa yo magpa carwash hehehe), samahan pa ng lugawan at bilyaran, captured market talaga ito.
3. if you're near the school, photocopying business is one of the best.
4. apply as canteen concessionaire sa mga factories,plants,and other big companies, sure walang utang kc salary deduction sa mga employees

in short, a lot of choices but reaaly depends on your interests and your background. having your own business is really a big risk, after all, there is always risk in whatever we do. parang pag nanligaw ka, you take the risk na ma turn down, same with business din.

based on my experiences..

i would NOT venture into anything na may "buhay".. meaning poultry, hog raising, prawns, plants/vegetables, etc.. kasi nga kapag na-peste yan or binagyo, ubos puhunan mo..

ayoko din ng may time limit.. like i-cafes or anything na per oras. kasi kahit ano pa gawin mo, 24 hrs lang ang isang araw. and kahit occupied pa lahat yung pc mo 24/7, limited pa rin ang potential to earn.. unless samahan ng ibang paninda/services for addtl income..

basta before you venture into anything, pag-aralan mo muna mabuti. look around para makita mo din actual operation ng business na gusto mo.. start small, madali na mag-expand pag lumakas na negosyo. to start, meron exhibit (july 14-16) ang mga business for franchise at the world trade center.

ang dpat dyan is 50-60% basic PCs for casual student use such as surfing and typing. then the rest mid-end PCs that can handle newer games. not exactly blazingly fast, as long as reasonable framerate ok na.

ang masama lang is some netcafes are only charging P10/hr. grabe..ano na kikitain mo dyan lalo na mga small cafes

My friend who owns PC Klinik in Manila configured several lanshops with this and were all satisfied that even the gamers didn't know it's onboard, it practically revolutionized on-board video gaming. It's just a matter of who configures it.

Should your needs arise like playing F.E.A.R, you can just pop in a videocard. so mas matipid sya initially.

I however bring in the Geforce 7950GX2 Dual Core 1GB Videocard for the leet gamers and lanshops.

actually if you will study their reports medyo negative nga within the last month. ganun talaga. it goes with stock market kasi so kung unstable ang ekonomiya natin, medyo downside nga yan. pero 1 yr naman yan di ba. makakabawi din yan lalo na pagdating ng month ng december.
