    Or do you know somebody selling pure breed Boer or Anglo Nubian bucks.

    Totoo yan bro, kahit yung dito sa amin nung nagtanong ako sa DMMSU-NLUC parang pony ang laki. More than 10 yrs ago ang presyuhan ay nasa 25k per head.

    Yes, the Boer breeds can be as large as a pony.

    Some pure breed adult bucks can go for as much as 30k, or more if it has papers to prove its lineage (same as dogs, race horses, cows, etc.)

    bale iyong boer breeds pang pet keeping purposes lang? not for cattle purposes like meat, milk, etc?

    That's up to you if you want to keep it as a pet. What I was saying earlier was that some pure breeds being sold here, have certificates to prove their origin (usually from abroad).

    These can then be mated to other mixed breed does (local F2, F3, etc.), to produce offspring that is better in adapting to our local climate.

    Boer goats are primarily known for their meat.

    There are other breeds that are used for dairy (Saanen, is one I think).

    Update: Contacted a local seller for a 6 month Boer buck. Will pay and get it over the weekend.
