    cathy girl.... hindi yun ang point ko.... may something kung paano ginamit yung english in public....

    meron naman iba na genuine ang pag-eenglish.... mafefeel mo yun eh...... kung educational or nag-aangas lang....

    kasi ang problem baka sa bahay tinatagalog lang pala anak.... so nagpapaimpress lang....

    AFAIK, primary and secondary schools have been bilingual (Filipino and English) since the 80s.

    English speaking naman ata lahat ng dogs sa Pilipinas. Hirap naman yung "upo", "higa", "tahimik"

    Correct, pero from 1987 pati yung English domain subjects (pre-1987) ay tinuturo na sa Pilipino.
    From 1987, parang sinadya talaga na pabagsakin yung public education system ng Pinas at i build up ang reputasyon ng mga private schools.
    Kaya nagsulputan yung mga pre-need plans para i-address yung demand ng mga maralitang pinoy na mapag-aral sa private schools mga anak nila.
    Ginawang negosyo yung education system ng pinas.

    Just because a person speaks that way, it doesn't mean he or she can't speak straight English. Vicky Belo is an example.
