That's why I don't leave huge money on gcash, parang pang bayad lang talaga ng bills.

I used to leave P10k but now P5k na lang. I'm not comfortable leaving over P20k in my gcash, kung prepaid, I won't leave a balance.

yung mga naka pag check pa last night.. same yung mga sabi nila.. it was sent to an EastWest bank account ending in 5239..

They were baited thru emails that being a loyal gcash user they were given gifts and ask to log in to claim their gifts. They will ask for the OTP to finalise redemption of your gift.

Since yesterday gcash now require to log in using face recognition no more pin, the hacker have change the pins of the compromised accounts.

I also received the spam email, its already a red flag because o it was sent to an email account I dont use for online banking.

Dapat lang para sa mga engot makuha pera nila sa gcash.

If sa mga senior nangyari I will understand pero pag sa mga working adult na adept sa internet saka lahing gumagamit ng socmed na mabiktima ng Phishing eh buti nga sa kanila.

Apple no longer accepts Maya as payment method | Cloudflare

Apple ID will no longer be accepting Maya as a payment method starting August 16. Should users still have the digital bank as a mode of payment, it will be removed from their Apple ID. It will no longer be used for purchases in the iTunes Store and the App Store.

Users are suggested to switch their mode of payment should ever they use Maya.

There’s no statement made by Maya or reason given by Apple about this change. We’ll update you once we know more.

madami kasi unbanked sa pinas

kaya ang dali mag open ng account ngayon

but with that comes fictitious accounts created with fake id

the public wants a payment system/money transfer system that's low friction

ung madali gamitin, mabilis

so companies minimize the steps to send money from one account to another

if you demand more security, what you actually want is more friction

you want companies to add more steps
