by bsp's edict, the old bank notes can no longer be used for daily transactions effective January 1, 2016. these bank notes can be exchanged with new generation bank notes in authorized banks from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016.

ang maganda nito yung perang ninakaw sa kaban ng bayan o yung inihanda na ng mga pulitiko na gagamitin sana ngayong mayo ay talagang lalabas yun kasi ma-demonitize eh. kung ipa exchange nila ng maramihan, ma- monitor yan ng anti-money laundering council (a transaction with any bank amounting to 500k will be reported to amlc), magiging problema pa.
kung magpapa exchange tayo ngayon sa bangko limitado lang ma exchange nila. this is very good-- for obvious reason.

yes, but all bank transactions amounting to at least 300k shall be reported and monitored by AMLC. how else binay's accounts and his factutom are discovered? the operative word is: FREEZE

partly agree here atty but not all bank transactions even half a million peso cash or more are reporting to AMLC. it's a matter of arrangement between the bank manager and bank account holder. some bank managers give "special treatment" to their favorite/big time account holders.
sa case naman ni noggy malas lang na headline sya sa media almost everyday kaya nimomonitor na ng AMLC. Tingin mo ba kung tumahimik lang si crocs mercado papansinin pa ba ng AMLC ang accounts ni noggy?
