My first job was at credit cards departments. You would be surprised of the number of people who revolve their cards. Minimum payment or a little above lang binabayaran.

Those who pay in full are called "transactors" and they are the minority. Nakakagulat how people who work in good companies, college grads e nagpapa interes sa cards.

Haha. Parang wala pang 10 call center agents nila at any given time/day. Cancelled all my cards in bpi kasi di ko talaga matawagan, umabot ng 700+ yung call bill ko sa cp dahil sa kanila para lang mawaive ynug 1 kong card. And meron pakong isa card pa sa kanila. Kaya nun naka connect ako, pinacancel ko nalang pareho. Kesa every year mag hirap ako sa pag tawag.

How do you pay when you travel? You are only allowed to bring a certain amount of cash.

Nakakapikon kasi sa savings account lang ako naglagay ng office number and I think they shared my contact details sa cards department!

magkano ba minimum sa citibank, to waive?
i prefer to pay in cash, para maramdaman ko ang pain.

I'm also not sure sir. Pero my main citi card probably only incur around a 100k per year or even less. I only use it on gas, some utility bills, online purchase, dining, vacation, and some shopping. My other citi card, 0. My 2 sec bank card, 0 usage also, all waived easily. As long as wala kang installment sa card, sabihin mo lang agad na iccancel mo nalang yung card pag sinabi nilang iqqueue nila yung request mo sa card dept nila.

I have an ongoing car loan and condo loan so talagang di ko rin magamit yung cards. ) never pa din akong nag avail ng installment plans nila or even paid late kaya baka no risk na iretain nila ako as client.

Pano to sir? Basta email lang sa expressonline*bpi.com.ph and include some needed details? Mabilis naman ang response? Can they also do card cancellation here? My payroll account is bpi kaya ok talaga sana si bpi.
    -------

Pays to have at least 2 when travelling doc. Should be from different banks/credit card companies. Just in case something goes wrong with one, you'll have a spare.

Just started working during that time so I just accepted the offered cc from payroll and offered cc from savings. Then applied another separate cc based from my needs(rebate cards). In my case parang ang saya lang na marami card during that time. :|

Pero right now, yes 1-2(diff banks) is the optimal # for me also. Siguro maganda lang sa maraming cc is the very wide range of promo and freebies that each bank offers. Downside, very high risk of losing/hacking/etc and hassle waiving AF. Pero usually naman same promos narin silang lahat, nag kakaiba nalang is visa vs mc.

In case something went wrong when using the card (offline, etc,) you have spare cards.
To avail of the different promos offered by each card.
For emergencies when travelling abroad (higher credit limit from the combined limits of each card)

Yes, Sir, through their expressonline e-mail address. Mabilis this year, less than 2 hours nagreply na. The following week reversed na. Two prior years mga 2 months bago nagreply.
