hi!
is anyone using either the Shell-Citibank Mastercard or the Petron-BPI Mastercard? i'm not sure if the 2% rebate makes much of a dent, but are there any benefits which you especially like?
are there any other credit cards with similar tie-ups?

i checked the internet, ang Shell-Citibank sa Wheelers ang tie-up for towing. Sa Petron-BPI, Ibero. Is anyone familiar with the latter?

March 24th, 2004 01:04 AM #3Whatever rebate that is due you is negated
by the usurious interest (3.5% per month on unpiad card balance) that these credit card
companies charge you.
So if you'r just loading up on gas and you will
use the card, make sure that when payment time falls due, you pay your balance in full and
defer any portion of it otherwise you're better off paying for your gas in cash...

Also I make it a point na sa isang Shell station lang ako lagi nagpapakarga.

April 27th, 2009 04:02 PM #6Hi guys. I just got my new Petron BPI Mastercard. Sabi sa website ng Petron BPI is pag ginamit yung 200pesos free fuel card, may makukuha na Welcome Kit from Petron (containing Petron BPI sticker, 24 hour protection coupons, insurance form etc).
Nagpagas ako Petron last week and tried to use the free fuel card, pero sabi nila hindi nila alam yung Welcome Kit; although kasama naman yung Petron branch na yun sa selected branches dun sa brochure. So di ko na muna ginamit ung free fuel card.
Do you guys have any idea kung pano makukuha yung Welcome Kit? Any particular branch that we should go to?
Thanks in advance..

May 8th, 2009 10:43 PM #8Meron ako nung Shell Citibank Visa, I got it last year nung kasagsagan ng weekly oil price hike I was enticed mainly because of the 5% rebate. pero I'm gonna have it cut off na since my other card is a HSBC-Mastercard since they recently increased the rebate on caltex fuels to 5% also, plus tha fact that i get points on top of the 5% rebate, yung sa Shell kasi 55 rebate lang, walang points.
