employee who works on a graveyard shift or from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. should be given free medical check-ups to ensure fitness for night work, provided with free transportation services from their work site to areas where public transportation is readily available and be allowed to work under compressed or flexible time arrangements.
Yun nga lang, what other job?!

Like giving the option to the Call Center agent to take a morning shift vs. a graveyard shift.
Kapatid, I bet you lahat sila pipiliin ang most convenient schedule, the morning shift.

Usually, graveyard workers sa US get paid $3 more per hour.

I think mga 4 of them passed the interview and good to go na sila (visa and papers nalang processed by the singaporean company)

and since 70% women, 29% gays (1% lang male siguro) sa call centers hehe, somehow may nag sumbong sa boss nila.

the boss terminated them on the spot for breaching contract daw na going to a competitor.

they (the ones going to Sing) wanted to file a complaint, but realized din na walang point to do so since:

    1) If they go through with this, they'll be forced to stay here for the case.
    2) If they did "win" would they really want to go back to work for the boss who fired them?

    So parang wala din.

dunno about benefits, pero imho ang pinakaimportante sa night shift people is transportation and security. naikwento ni ma dati that the call center a friend's daughter works in already had two separate incidents of rape nung papauwi ang coworkers nya. the money must be really good, since afaik she'll still working the same shift

siguro dahil mas mature na yung industries na minention mo .. in anycase .. si roxas kasi yung isa sa nagpasok ng bills para mas maluwag yung pag-pasok ng call centers dito sa pinas .. so i'm not surprised na malapit ito sa kanya ..
