Hello gurus, question about these online digital banking na nau-uso ngayon. Compare to other banks, malaki ang interest rate per year nila compare to local banks kaya nakaka enganyo mag open ng account plus no minimum deposit amount required.

So far eto ang promo/offer nila:

ING and KOMO - 3% interest rate per year
CIMB - 4% interest rate per year.

    TIA!

Hindi naman. You only need to transfer the money to your brick and mortar bank account. Usually next day nasa account mo na money.

Thank you sir CB.

Kailangan may Cash-In transactions [emoji28]..

How much is the interest of ING now vs CIMB?

I opened CIMB to park my emergency funds for the ease of transfer (via GCash) and the 4% interest rate.

Good thing Tonik opened and offered 6% interest, so now ING and CIMB have to maintain their 4% to stay competitive.

Oks na ako ING and CIMB.. Ta try ko naman sana yung Tonik..

Nope, emergency funds lang naman nasa bank ko, I don’t see the point of over-diversifying. Most other money is invested elsewhere (mostly stocks).

And since emergency funds yung nasa digital bank ko, it needs to be liquid and can be withdrawn anytime. The 6% interest requires a 6-month holding period so it doesn’t match my purpose.

Eh more than 5 years ago na yun.. Lugi pa nga kasi binawasan pa nila ng 5K+ agad pag-open nung policy as Service Charge.. Naka dalawang policy pa ako na kinuha.. Same lang walang kinita..
May ma suggest ba kayo Sir Jut na panimula lang for me to invest..

Yung GCash > GSave hindi sya considered as Cash-In [emoji58]..
May dalawang klase pa ng Cash In, Over the Counter at Online via DragonPay.. Hindi naman ako gumagamit ng DragonPay.. Kaya mag-over the counter pa siguro ako..

[emoji1787] Same lang sila ng ING (very good [emoji1303])
To answer kung paano magka-CIMB debit card ito yung sagot.. Kailangan pala magkaroon/mag-open ng FAST Account or Fast Plus Account sa kanila.

If you have time, you can listen/watch this video on GInvest.

1-04 PRO Edition: G-Invest GCash brings Investing to All! ? - YouTube

In general, GInvest’s offerings are at par with what local banks offer. What I like with them though are their Global Feeder Funds - I’ll personally be investing in ATRAM Global Consumer Trends Feeder Fund. It’s an actively managed fund, with investments in global companies. Pretty high management fees (3%) but worth a shot for diversification.

Thank you sa update, MissEks.
